This is how I see it but is subject to change after training camp starts. Houston-(Ratliff-Fergy in a rotation)-McDonald. as far as backups Sutton may be worked in somewhere, but he may not fit. Jenkins is a just a backup with some rotation spots. They will be bringing in at least one more if not two. (Young-Jones-Bass in a rotation) Bostic-Foster-McPhee. Allen will be in some rush packages, SCM will not make the team, Jones will see some time inside as a backup. Washington or Bass will backup MePhee. I think we will draft one or two DL players and scs may get his wish and get Shelton. Probably a ILB and dont see us drafting another one with so many bodies at the OLB spot. I think once healthy Young can play outside. I think Bass could take a step forward and see more playing time. When Vic goes to the 2-5-4 Houston will drop off and they could bring in Allen on some plays. MePhee gets put in many spots on the field.

Its not true, it would have been all over twitter if it actually happened. You CAN NOT believe everything you read. To verify things, you will see many outlets stating it.

I agree with the piss poor, but lunging at needs spent alot of money that was a mistake.I was very happy with last off season but as you see that is not the way to do. I thought this year would be different, one somewhat major signing and several mid level signings and the rest low vet type players. That is how they did it and I agree with that logic. Most teams over pay for talent in FA, we have some of those already this year but the time of Jared Allen sigining are done. I agreed with that then and a year later it looks bad. I trust in what they are doing now, and we will judge these moves next year and see how it all turned out.
-
We can like or dislike the move, but they made it so, does that mean your not a Bear fan anymore? Every team in the league has thugs on the team. I would have not necessarily made the move, but my name is not on it, Pace stands by it. We will see how all of this turns out. If you liked BM, he had nine such charges. I think this move shows the regime thinks we are closer to playoff bound than I thought they were. That added Rolle for some leadership at age 32 and now this for a soon the be 31 year old . They simply lack 3-4 type players on the line, and this is a somewhat of a desperation move to fill needs. There mainly will be building through the draft, of which will take 2 to 3 years and this is a move to help now.

the top 51 contracts count against the cap, so many of them wont count.
-
We have to take out 6 mil for rookie pool, so this probably leaves us at around 5-6 mil leave in cap. Vet mins only count like 650 against the cap instead of the full amount.

That has just made me curious as to the circumstances for taking another center when you had one in the house.

We all see everything on the surface and I dont believe they jumped into this blindly. I think they did there homework and made a decision. I know someone that was charged with sexual abuse with a minor. He is listed as a sex offender. He was 18 and she was 17 and the parents pressed the charges. They got married a year later, and have lived happily ever after. He carries his sex offender tag because of her parents not liking him. Dont think that was justified considering they were in love and got married. The point is we need to view the accusations and charges and decide what we believe to be true. I read the transcript from his last incident and it sounds like a drunk woman when to his home to party and ended up having sex with him. He said it was consensual and she couldnt remember anything. She spend the whole next day with him and then a few days later made the accusations. I think if someone raped me I wouldnt be spending the next day with them in a casual setting.

It could be Shelton but think they will go with a higher rated player. I wouldnt hate it, but I think they think Ferguson could be there guy at NT with splitting time with Ratliff. With McDonald coming, an older vet, I think they think there closer to a playoff team than I imagined. Therefore with the possiblity of 2 stud WRs sitting there, or a stud OL, it will be one of those positions.
-
Ok but why choose Hudson if the pay was equal? They know what they have in Wiz, just seems odd.
-
get a 100 signed and let the best group win the roster spots.
-
Finally hitting the pavement and getting stuff done. Just waiting for the big money silliness to go away and now building the team from both ends. Jenkins just a backup, of which we dont have much of. McDonald is a big question mark, but a starter on the field. I would say Foster could be the starter at ILB and let the rest fall in place. good day

I dont think we should base draftees on the 1st or the 4th best player, its about who are the best players. If a S is ranked 20th best player drafting at #7 is a bad valve. There is supposedly 10 plum players in the draft, we need one of them. Forget the draft need crap, we need everything.
-
I think he is just a depth signing, we have only a couple of DEs for the 3-4 we need to add some bodies. He wont start but if whoever we have start he will be his backup.
-
So what is it about Wiz that Raiders would drop him and spend big money on Hudson? Must be something going on we cant see.
-
Jenkins and McDonald tells us there not sitting on there hands. Jenkins is a friend with Foster and has been tweeting him to come here. So you may be right on he is next.
-
I dont know anything about the McDonald incidents but I dont think we can all lump them in the same grouping. Marshall has had 9 domestic abuse charges and because he got himself labeled as a mental disorder, he is all accepted. I will read about it and form an opinion, but from a football standpoint , a good move. Morally, cant say yet.

If it falls like that Mariota is gone at 6, dont get your point?
-
If it fell that way probably the highest rated player would be Cooper. Maybe White if someone likes him better.
-
Your absolutely right about that, if he came out last he may have been the 4th or 5th rated safety, there was 4 in the first round. at 18-21-27-30, So at best he wont got until the late teens, which at 7 would be concieve to not be a good valve.
-
Since it is obvious no one is paying him a big contract, Im sure he will be back in GB.
-
I think they will be moving him to the outside, If you basically starting anew why not make the change now. It is easier and cheaper to find a right guard that a good tackle.
-
there not doing both first rounders. I wonder what 75 and 78 (NO has those in 3rd round) and 1 5th would be worth moving back 6 spots?
-
Seen a tweet stating we are talking to Jarvis Jenkins-26- 6-4 315-last year-28 tacks last year for Redskins. He was a 2nd round pick.
-
Like scs said, its to risky for that high a pick. He is the type of player you take a chance on in the second.
