  1. I think our OL lacks depth and not much on here.
  2. I put up my keeper on the league message board.
  3. McCoy is obviously a plum, the RB combo of Miller and Moreno will haunt you because it will be used as a RB committee so neither will be a good number 2. Other wise a strong team.
  4. IN a ten team league , almost everybody should have a good team. Everybody has their stength and a weakness. RB doesnt have much depth, but if people dont get injuried your good to go.
  5. I think it is way early to disown anybody on this team. they just played the best team in football at there home with very little questions for them to answer. I think we are a playoff contender but not a SB one. We simply are a work in progress, and it will look better later. Preseason means very little in the total design of a team. We have work to do and lets enjoy the regular season when it gets here, it will be a rollercoaster. I like rollercoaster rides.
  6. Maybe he is a ST whiz, they always keep looking to find more talent.
  7. Your spot on with your assesment .
  8. Finally Weems got cut, never really understood his roster spot considering he wasnt really good as even a 5th WR
  9. He is in the position to succeed on the Denver fast track, but just hasnt done it yet, so there is a caution asterisk by his name.
  10. I like the fact Paea actually looked good after being so bad last year. He is in a contract year and most players have good productive . I dont think the TE shining friday was planned. Its a pre season game and they dont go into these games with a game plan except for the 3rd game. I think they got attention because they were an open man on a progression for mostly inexperienced qbs.
  11. I have been only on here once in awhile, and was curious about the money league thru hear? Did I miss news or it hasnt been set up yet?
  12. I find this an odd signing. He has been available this whole offseason and curious why, if they thought of him, that they didnt sign him earlier? Doesnt look like Bennett is much of an option at this point.
  13. It means nothing, the fact the defense is showing some attitude is a good thing, after last years performance. It doesnt mean everything is out of control.
  14. He was my favorite player for a long time, but that didnt make him any less of a putz. I respect him for his loyalty to teammates but he is quite the putz when it comes to the team and the fans. Says a lot of stupid stuff and have no problem getting on him when he does. You can sleep with his poster above your bed, I took mine down.
  15. when I go to Yahoo, cant find the info, I thought I did the invite, but cant locate anything
  16. Ya we never measured up to those twos high standards. I actually like all the chaotic banter once in awhile, makes life interesting.
  17. What if Briggs ends up sucking? What do you think then?
  18. Thanks for putting that up.
  19. I didnt hear the whole interview, so you have an advantage. I guess to me it sounds like he was making a shot at the Bears with the Green Bay comment, but it could be taken out of context.
  20. As far as I have read, he is not completely over his injury from last year. It might have detoured his work outs and will have to get into shape during training camp.
  21. If retired, he will receive 1.127 off of his bonus money. we should only consider him if the people we brought in fail. There is only so much time to see what our QB prospects can do and a vet like Orton will only be brought in if they fail. Is he better? if he wants to retire from football, no one will ever no.
  22. Just noticed this, must just be a camp body. I thought we had depth? Must not like the back of the depth chart for OL.
  23. It remains to be seen how it all turns out, kinda one of the interesting battles going on this camp. Other than Briggs its all a question to the effectiveness. Coaches being positive about an unproven commodity it better than a bunch of negativity around the position.
  24. It will be true, the actual experience with probably be quite lacking, but I always like to say (I did that). It"s like going to a real game, there is energy and excitement but it is a easier experience watching on the tube, and cheaper. I had season tickets to the Bears for two years back when Sweetness was around and had a lot of great memories but it was a hassle every gameday treking from Rockford to the game in the cold weather. Wouldnt change that memory but it was better suited for a young man than at my tender age of 61. Really would just like to say I did that once. How nice would that be waiting around for the last pick in the first round with some of you Bear fans, I may never meet again.
