  1. To late for that now, will do something constructive while listening to our draft picks on the SCORE(works for me)
  2. SB Nations latest draft is more to my liking. It addresses all our defense needs and adds some O prospects I think we need. Notes: I think Pryor will be a star in the NFL and after the first 3 S prospects, it may be deep but many wont be able to start first year. We need our draft pick to start so S in the first is a good call. I think Donald is the best prospect at a need position but I suspect he will be gone, so we grab a rotational player in the second round that will have to add stength but has great upside. We need younger CBs and after reading more about this CB, it seems like a good fit. He doesnt have to start his first year so he has time to develop. I definitely think we add a MLB prospect, and Smallwood played for Paul P. one of our new coaches. A connection the rest of the draft addresses backups we definitely need. http://www.windycitygridiron.com/2014/4/10...n=articlebottom
  3. I agree with the RB as a necessary. We have to anticipate some injury to someone important. We got by with Cutler gone last year, but without ample backups at QB again and RB we could easily get derailed with a big injury. The defense sucked and I suspect it will be a lot better, still have holes to plug but you cant always get everything fixed in one season. So the draft will bring maybe 3 that will help this year on defense but we have acutually 3 spots on offense yet to fill, RB,QB and TE and it all matters for us to take the next step.
  4. He's my favorite S, and would be happy with him being our first choice.
  5. Is this TT or Jason? Several hate words in the post. not my favorite mock draft
  6. The problem is with any side of the argument is Wolfe wasnt any good, so it doesnt matter.
  7. He will be a top40 pick, and the draft might be deep at CB, but the studs will go early.
  8. The third game is usually the rehearsal dinner.
  9. Emery keeps throwing darts at the board and I suspect a few of them will stick.
  10. The picked up Josh Bellamy off waivers from the Redskins. A WR and Im not sure but think is a LS
  11. These are different people and I think there smarter than the past regime.
  12. He will be looked at as a change of pace back, he is not an every down back.
  13. Interesting note: Rempel also played WR. Also coming to Halas Hall today was RBs Phillip Tanner Javon Ringer.
  14. We have a new addition, LS Chad Rempel played for Trestman in Canada. So long P. Mannley.
  15. I totally agree, he could get 10-12 touches a game and give Forte a little breather and play some slot WR.
  16. From a football sense, he has talent but he is quite an arrogant bastard. He caused all kinds of problems in TB. I see has being a problem as far as the locker room goes. He goes to Minn, a chance to revive his career and falls on his face. enough said.
  17. I trust in Trestman, if he says he's Ok, Im all good with that.
  18. Also visiting today was Adam Weber/QB and Mitchell Mulligan/TE
  19. I think he is better than average and was basically promised the job with a contract in another year. I think as the year goes on, Garza wears down and toward the end of the year we see DLP take over.

    Panic#2

Just heard on the score that Josh Freeman visited the Bears today. He is a big pudwack and dont think that's a good idea.
  21. Just digest information, and apply it to the NFL. I think SF and Seattle are the two best teams in the NFC, so for the Bears to be successful you have to understand what those teams are.
  22. He isnt a top10 center but he is in the next tier of centers. A little above average. For now he is a better backup than Boggs, but is 28 with 44 games starting. Familiar with the system and I definitely see him being our next starting center after Garza is done. For those PFF supporters, he was the 12th ranked center last year.
  23. Emery ,I think will end up being better at the GM position but time will tell with a better amount of data to use. I like the fact Emery attacks positions of need with a vengeance. OL last year, WRs over his tenure and now DE position. So far so good.

    New Mock

I like your names but think somewhere in there you could have went with a better RB prospect.
