Kameron Wimbley
We are paying an average of 14 mil a year for Pep, and Williams will be 2 to 4 mil more per year average. Bewteen Vjax at 12 and Williams at 16, you will get more valve from Mario. The problem is we are hosed on the OL and WR spot if we do this.

V-Jack to Tampa
So what is Williams and Jackson hanging out together today? Williams will make the most money in F Agency and wont be taking 3 mil less to sign someone else. We dont have enough money for more than Williams.
-
If you had your choice
I read a report that lists all the teams cap space and our cap is 22.6 mil. Also Mario will cost more like 16 to 18 mil. which doesnt leave money for anyone else. We still have a rookie pool and our own players to sign.

All of that sounds very doable, but if we sign Mincy, I dont think we will draft a DE that high, maybe another DT

Bears favorite for Mario
It would be fun to watch the defense if he comes here, but I fear we cant upgrade the OL and WR spot to satisfy Cutler. His contract is up in two years, and if he takes a beating again for another year,I guarantee he wont be coming back. He has waited for 3 years for them to improve on offense, if we blow him off for another year?

Randy Moss Signs 1yr Deal W/Niners
Thank God he is a 49er so we dont have to hear anymore of the Randy Moss crab. Hey TO is still out there.
-
What we really need to get as players
That is about 34 to 36 mill, which we dont have. You forget the rookie pool and signing our own players, but hey I love to play fantasy football.

Kameron Wimbley
I would love to get either one but think a Wimbley/DE, Winston/RT. and Colston(if available) would serve us better.
-
Barber gone?
His cap hit is 2.8 but base salary 1.9. so I think we save the 2012 salary.
-
Bears favorite for Mario
If we sign Williams we wont be signing any other large contracts, he will cost to much.

Bears favorite for Mario
With the weather and Brees , and have had more success than us, sounds like he might stay.

Redskins to go all in with Jackson
I have been agreeing with you way to much lately, accept the Moss thing.
-
LB David Hawthorne
If we sign Williams we wont be affording anyone else.
-
Redskins to go all in with Jackson
Enough teams want him, he will get paid.
-
Free agency primer
If would be nice to have him, but the cost will be to much to help us at the other spots we need to fill. We need WR and OL help or in two years Cutler will be gone. He has been hoping we help him, but if we keep blowing him off, he will leave.

Dwight Freeney
Need to leave him alone with what it would cost for him, traded or just cut. We do need to get younger and take a chance on a younger player like Mincey from Jacksonville, whose Arrow is pointing up not down. Or Wimbley.

FA question
I think there are so many needs, anyone one they sign will help alot. The problem is if you sign Williams, you have no money for anyone else. I also think you need help in the OL and a couple of WRs, so between the draft and Fagency you hope they add some good players. V Jack will be over paid, but I think he is a between 6 and 12th as far as ranking him. I have backed off from him and then we should chase Colston for 2 to 4 mil less and gives a chance to sign another quality guy.

Terra as GM
Terra definitely does not need to quit his day job to become a GM.

Randy Moss Signs 1yr Deal W/Niners
Do you play fantasy football? You can take him as your #1 WR where ever he plays, for all the love you have for him. Just because you were the first to think of Moss doesnt mean its still a good idea. If we add some quality, picking him up would be a bonus, but to be our focus going forward, not very smart.
-
Steve Hutchinson to be released?
I agree, how many times can we roll the dice and let Cutler die out there. We need to add a guard and tackle, one each in FAgency and one in the first three rounds of the draft. We at least need some options if those starters fail.
-
Terra as GM
I agree with everyone you just stated, the problem with your math is that is about 34 mill in contracts for the year and you didnt figure in the rookie pool and resigning our own players.WE DONT HAVE THAT MUCH MNONEY. Also Forte money has to come off that cap. I think we have enough to sign Coslton , Carlson, and Wimbley.

Redskins to go all in with Jackson
I dont think we should go after Williams, the money we will have to pay him will prohibit us froming getting any other players of note. I would rather have A Colston and Grubbs, and a CB than just one guy and some low lights.
-
Redskins to go all in with Jackson
I think you can get the same numbers out of Colston for 2 to 4 less.
-
Redskins to go all in with Jackson
Was reading on PFT that with the QB in place, they will be going after Jackson big time. If Snyder wants someone, I think he will outbid us for VJ.The only thing we have going for us is being a better team.

Rams deal #2 to Skins
They went all in last year, waiting for him to play and looked what happened. I think they are more aware of his injuries than anybody else and anybody getting Manning is taking a big risk. I think if they are going to be bad, might as well rebuild. They know they have the of the best prospects to come along in many years at QB, so a perfect time to go young.
