Nick Chubb?
I think, they wait until they see what they have before they add another RB. The perception of fans and pundits is we need more. They may have already more faith in RJ and Swift and that is why there was no urgency to take a RB in the second round,

#10 Pick Prediction
I always wanted Warren because of his running the ball was more versatile but Johnson wanted Loveland because of his receiving skills. More like Laporte but probably better. We have so much talent on offense and a offense creator, OMG I can't wait. Remember when Detroit had a losing record and then started winning, they were still scoring a lot of points. Then each year just got better.

All Too Early Offensive Projections
First of all, I responded to Adam and he equally goes both sides. ( Observation) To say someone is pessimistic or optimistic doesn't mean 100% it could be 60-40 to one side or the other. If a therapist was looking at our board they could easily say a person leans one way or the other. It's not a defined statement. It can change according to things going on in your life. It's just an observation. Example Jason learns half empty and he makes note of it himself. No one would ever mistake me as a pessimist.

I think when they talked about who to draft Johnson is in on the conversation and it's a consensus pick. If something fails, he Was part of it.

It could come down to they liked Trapilo better. After they commit to trading down, it's the board that determines the next choice.

I think Warren interfered

8 Offensive Starters signed thru 2027 (next 3 years)
Technically the DE and DT is generally a rotation position. 4 and 4 . Some play more snaps but everyone eats on the line. I think the next 2 years will be down to grabbing that one player that will put us over the top. And depth pieces.

Nothing referring to this post but there have been studies that show people that see a glass half full or half empty actually points to a mind set on how you view anything.

I do read everything , the fact you posted the scenario says you don't want him here. The draft won't be played out for a couple years, Ben just got here, I don't think after his first draft is to back bite the GM.

4 of them were already here and they signed Wheeler and Swift. Clearly Swift was signed to be the lead back.

THE BEAST of an off-season
Correct we played well enough to reach 9-10 wins. But the calamity of Flus and lame OCs prevented that. 4-2 and should have been 5-2, boom, the team quit on him

Actually KJ was the next rated RB so I wonder if they had the discussion of who Ben wanted. WR or RB?

Totally agree with all that. We don't know if they would have taken Banks but he wasn't available. Loveland was there plan. A draft is it's own creation. Nothing ever goes as planned.

Henderson was picked right before pick 39. He was never an option.

We have 4 capable bodies in the RB room. They are going to see what they have before they add someone. .

I don't think he's getting fired just because you want him to.

Bears select Luke Newman, OL at #195
I do too but the information they give has value. I I read and watch a ton of stuff to form my opinion. I don't think anyone has a Bible on football evaluation. Some pundits that watches every bite of tape of a player has a better perspective than my highlight films and a few games. The poll is just a pushback on desert boy because he constantly dismisses them because they don't agree with him. I was never serious about the poll

Poles stuck to a plan and got some extra assets to add to the roster. I would have loved Skattebo but after getting assets to turn around and give them away to grab a specific player was good judgement. They estimate how the draft falls and adjust. Getting Monongai in the 7th will prove to be a great bargain. If you watch his tape, he has quickness but not long speed. He was 4th the nation in broken tackles. A violent runner. In 2024 Rutgers had no passing offense and stacked the box in every game and he still finished 2 nd in the league in rushing.

The last month before the draft is lying season. You can't take anything any team says as Truth. Poles holds his cards close. No one has given me a reason to believe that someone that has a leak of bears information actually has a source. I think most people start rumors and speculate. Poles obviously showed he was drafting Caleb, no secrets. He said he was getting an upgrade at center. Easy to put together that was Dalman. No one had the Thuney or Jackson trade information. I didn't see anyone suggest we were taking Loveland over Warren. A few picked Loveland in mocks but it was because Warren was gone.

Bears select Luke Newman, OL at #195
This is a on going stupid conversation. Adam , how do I do poll to see if members think Bearfan or Dan Jeremiah, Dane Brugler, ect have more trusted opinions on player evaluations. Bearfan doesn't like that I inject other names in forming my opinion. I guarantee if I told everyone that I was smarter than known ( experts that spend all year evaluating players) no one would bother reading my posts.

All Too Early Offensive Projections
I say negative things sometimes. I'm speaking to a general overview of a person's responses. The majority of mine are positive. No one would conclude I'm a( look at the bad .). Pick someone on here and look at the comments in numbers, it will tell you what side of the spectrum they belong. Mostly negative outlooks or like me mainly positive. I was just making an observation on Adam, he goes both ways.

Bears select Luther Burden (WR) at Pick #39
I expect this year to be different from last year plus we have the coach that put that offense in the position to flourish. We don't know what to expect from any of our WRs, TEs, or RBs with Johnson pulling the trigger. I'm optimistic it's going to go well . I wasn't comparing one player to another player, just the overview of the offense.

That could happen but with great coaches, upgraded roster and a 5 star QB, you think we are going to have losing seasons going forward? That's the only way he's getting fired.
