I really don't get how anyone can feel good about our LB core. We have two unprovens in Bostic/Shea and then DJ who has had major problems staying on the field. Our stalwart, Briggs, who I love a lot, is coming off an injury shortened campaign and is getting pretty old in football age himself. We have a massive hole at LB until proven otherwise, imo.

Steltz and Wright are FA's so you need to add some depth.

I want to resign Melton and then draft a linebacker or DT in round 1. No DE's worth taking at our spot (unless we want to move down a bit). I'd also argue CB is a major need. I still want Peanut back.

I can live with this. Definitely fills a need. I'd have preferred Bennet but glad we were able to move quickly.
