  1. Becoming one of the best run franchises in the NFL. In my opinion.

Can't comment on more than the eye test. Meaning that as just a fan I don't know all the intricacies of QB play in the NFL and what one team asks vs another when it comes to play. To me, bottom line is I believe Mahomes is going to be very, very special. But he does not play for my Bears so I look forward to MB learning and growing and becoming the best QB he can. If he does, I think we will have the better team going forward by far.
  3. What all of you said. He is more than serviceable. I don't know enough about talent or cap space so I leave that up to the team but I have no problem with him coming back the way he played this year. And I am an inside out believer. You can never have to many good OF linemen or DF linemen.

Even the GOAT of kickers doinks one every now and then.
  5. Yes the Burton injury was big as was E. Jackson. But also was Callahan earlier in the season. Those three added to our team would off been a great addition. But bottom line is at this time in the season all teams are missing key players and dinged up. My main thought is that the Def. and Mack in particular just did not get the job done when it counted the most. Five minutes left in the game and the player you made the highest paid def. player in the league and gave up two numbers ones just did not make the play. We would not of been in the playoffs without Mack. Going forward he will be a difference maker. But on Sunday that type of investment has to make a game winning play. If you look at the off. side of the ball would you expect any less of Brady, Rogers, or any of the great off. players. Not saying he was the reason we lost. But he did not make a play for us to win.
  6. EX Navy guy myself and have no idea what your talking about. Hot Wash SITREP. But then I was a snipe and no one ever talked to us. LOL Im kinda looking forward to a new DC. Happy for Vic so lets see where the new guy takes us.

Good Luke to Mr Fangio. Have not heard if any of his asst. will be going with him. But would not be disappointed to get a DC who might bring a little more heat every now and then. Not crazy like a Ryan but somewhere in between. The Bears D got statistically better when Buddy left until Marshall left. Excited to see where this D goes next year.
  8. I don't care how one spins this game. Yea, lots of things did not go right on off. and def. But bottom line is they had a 43 yard field goal to win the game. And the man did not make it. My heart was ripped out on the first loss of the year and again on the last loss of the year. In between was a great run and we learned a lot about this team and it's coaches. Sadly we learned that we had a kicker that sucked and never needs to show his face in Chicago again. I have enjoyed reading all your posts this year and look forward to the draft. This loss is going to take awhile to get over.
  9. What has happened to draw plays to slow down pass rushes?
  10. Def. needs to shut out the Eagles for the 4th quarter in order to give them a chance to win.
  11. I could never root for the Packers. I grew up ten miles from the Wisc. border and in the 60-70's they would need security guards at some bars during Bear-Packer games.

  13. God a Packer and Viking fan giving the Bears props. in the comment section. It is our year!
  14. I think the key is our OF line. If we can keep their good front seven with Cox, Bennet, Long in check, I think the running game will give MT a chance to take some shots down the field against a weak secondary. Something I haven't seen a lot of the last weeks. Our def. will more than keep us in the game. I have no fears on defense except of course injuries. Which barring any from either team and both play their best game we come out ahead 24-13

I love his lack of game killing turnovers in the 2nd half of the season. But he is going to have to make some down the field throws like he did in the TB game more than he has in the last four games. His over throws could haunt him from here on out.

I thought Rich Gannon was uptight. Someone please check on Cousins this week, everyday!!!

Four time last to first. Home game, I don't care who we are playing. And I don't remember the last game we had. Well I kinda do and it really sucked. But I think this team can beat anyone when all cylinders are hitting. It's gonna be tough but we can beat any team any where it they are. DaBears!!!
  18. Well we don't have a draft position to play for. Play the first half as you would every other game, look at the score board and go from there. If you can keep minny out of the playoffs then full steam ahead. If they are kicking our ass and Rams are winning then rest the starters. Would prefer not to play a division rival in the playoffs.
  19. FN Cute
  20. I wake up again and now this. Kinda scary, but well deserved!!! Gotta love being a Bears fan!!
  21. Who would of thunk!
  22. Nothing more to say.
