Detroit cut ties with him months ago, smartly enough. He's a free agent now, but these incidents probably just ended his career.

Did he get arrested a 3rd time already? I remember hearing he got arrested twice within 15 hours or something but I didn't know he got caught again. What a loser.

The Experts Are Pissin Me Off!
He was a reach because he projected as the 6th or 7th best OL in the draft that you took in the first round when you had guys like Eiffert, Ogletree, and others that were left on the board as #1 or #2 at their positions. The Bears chose to go for need rather than go with the best guy. I still have my doubts how Long even made it as far as he did, based off 5 career starts at a major college.

Timothy Tebow
Oh god no. Arena Football would be the WORST option of them all; even worse than the NFL. Arena football is a league predicated on timing and accuracy. The game is faster, and the shortness of the field, with less ground to cover, necessitates quarterbacks who can fit a ball through small windows and deliver it on time. That is not Tim Tebow.

It will be interesting to see which WR's make the roster this year. We know Jeffery, Bennett, and Marshall will be on there. Weems, Hester, and Anderson are the question marks. Anderson showed last year that he's capable of being a big special teams contributor, so he could have an inside track to making the team. I also really like what he showed as a pass catcher in the preseason as well. I don't think you can have both Weems and Hester taking up a roster spot. At least one of them has to go. That leaves one spot left (If they choose to carry 6 WR's) for a rookie, likely either Harrison or Wilson. The other guy could end up on the taxi squad.- Best drafts
They traded up with somebody (Patriots, I think?) to get Patterson. They had two to begin with by virtue of the Harvin trade.- UDFA Signings Thread
I see they signed Mark Harrison. This guy is big. 6'3, 230 pounds at WR.- Best drafts
I agree with those. I'd also put Minnesota up there because of the 3 first round picks.- Official 2013 NFL Draft Thread
Overall, I thought the Bears draft was decent. Similar the way I viewed last year's. Still not a fan of the 1st round pick.- Marquess Wilson, WR, Washington St, selected at #236
He draws comparisons to Jonathon Baldwin, who Emery helped scout while he was with KC.- Marquess Wilson, WR, Washington St, selected at #236
They traded back with Atlanta a couple rounds ago.- Official 2013 NFL Draft Thread
Great pick.- Official 2013 NFL Draft Thread
3 LB's? EDIT: Nvm. He's listed at 265. I see tweets about him being projected as a 3-4 OLB. His measurables are incredible. I guess he's big enough to play some DE though if need be.- Jordan Mills, OT, Louisiana Tech, OT selected at #163
More training camp competition on the offensive line. The Bears have a lot of bodies now, there.- Official 2013 NFL Draft Thread
Why? Do I have to like any of them? I'm okay with Bostic, but I saw him more as a WLB than a Mike. Greene is a similar player who also looks to belong as a weakside LB. We'll see where they end up here.- Official 2013 NFL Draft Thread
I envy the 49'ers and the way they draft.- Khaseem Greene, LB, Rutgers, selected at #117
I like this stat: Turnover machine.- Khaseem Greene, LB, Rutgers, selected at #117
Both Bostic and Greene project to outside LB's in a 4-3 scheme. Unless Emery wants to force Bostic into playing MLB, this pick is a bit of a head scratcher.- Official 2013 NFL Draft Thread
I have a very meh reaction to this pick.- Official 2013 NFL Draft Thread
No idea why the Giants felt compelled to trade up for a quarterback.- Official 2013 NFL Draft Thread
The Titans like OL I guess.- Official 2013 NFL Draft Thread
