I don’t think this means he’s close to returning I just find it odd he’s training in bare feet https://bearswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/bears/2026/09/02/bears-kyler-gordon-rehab-training-calf-injury/91581753007/ Report
7 hours ago7 hr comment_235384 He’s doing sprints / makes you wonder if frustration with Bears is - they look at that and see someone who should be on field but he just isn’t there or isn’t quiet willing to trust his body to make that final push. Clearly he is not aligned with the staff. I actually was glad to see this video cause it in some way shows a bit of a fight back like hey I do care and I am working…which is more than I could say about Nate Davis. Report

Fireworks and popcorn could follow. I hope his intentions are to be the best and wish he took the route the Bears wanted. But that did not happen and IG posts about going to Paris for fashion bring back a taste Bears fans haven't forgotten. Report
5 hours ago5 hr comment_235386 The PR on this aint great, and the Bears could say something but they choose not to which is a big sign. I mean i dont know anything about whats goin gon, but if you believe in the Bears, then it doesnt look good on Gordon. At the same time the talent is undeniable. If he comes back and plays well, i suspect we will trade him and he could well have a resurgence on another team, which is fine as long as we get something good in trade for him. It's too bad, because he is so good when he plays, but I dont think its so easy to earn Ben Johnson's trust after all of this.Kyler has to get back on the field and ball out no matter which scenario it ends up being. If not, he's out of the NFL pretty fast, and then, dude, no one is gonna care about your podcast. He's made enough money that he never has to work again, maybe he has Nate Davis vibes. i dunno. But the team is moving on without him whatever it is, and no matter how good he is - and he IS - it doesnt matter if youre not on the field. It's baffling, frustrating, and obnoxious. Report
15 minutes ago15 min Author comment_235387 I remember being surprised he made the trip to Cincy when others were left behind to rehab. This video proves the Bears point that he is willing to do things on his own but not with the training staff. While Poles didn’t say that outright he alluded to it. Report
8 minutes ago8 min comment_235388 I thought someone asked Poles and he was working out at the training camp staff? Now maybe that is just recently and why people are noticing him around but wasnt before. I never like to rag on injured players. For anyone that has played before some play with aches and pains and some dont. He has always been a team guy before but has had some nagging injures . Clearly brass in not liking the situation but he is here this year because of the cap hit to get rid of him. No one is trading for a big money player not on the field. Report
