1.) George W. Bush lost this election for McCain. Sure, McCain made errors along the way. Examples: Saying the economy was fundamentally sound the day before it completely cratered; picking Sarah Palin; and "suspending his campaign" were all big blunders, among others. But this election wasn't really won or lost on those snafus. People saw through the bullshit and knew deep down we couldn't live with another 4 years of these bad Bush policies. 2.) The American People have rejected Republicanism roundly. At least the modern version of it. It's time for fiscal conservatives to wrestle back control over that party. Social conservatism, blending of religion and …

A woman pregnant with triplets was walking down the street when a masked robber ran out of a bank and shot her three times in the stomach. Luckily the babies were OK. The surgeon decided to leave the bullets in because it was too risky to operate. She gave birth to two healthy daughters and a healthy son. All was fine for 16 years, and then one daughter walked into the room in tears. 'What's wrong?' asked the mother. 'I was taking a tinkle and this bullet came out,' replied the daughter. The mother told her it was okay and explained what happened 16 years ago. About a week later the second daughter walked into the room in tears. 'Mom, I w…

Just wondering if there any people on this board who play Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox live. I would consider myself a casual gamer some of the people... ok most of the people on the multiplayer seem to take the game entirely too seriously and play it non stop. It might be fun to set up a clan or do some multiplayer matches with fellow Bear fans. This is going to be a long offseason for the Bears might be a fun way to pass the time.

I've noticed many of you guys are from places like Ireland, Sweden, Chile, Arizona, Los Angeles, etc. I was just wondering you became Bears fans? Were you born here then moved due to money issues or a new job? Or was it a choice growing up to just pick a team and it happened to be the Bears?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HNNADGCyI4 Nobody on the McCain side really believes Obama is a radical Muslim with real ties to terrorism. On election night, if McCain wins, we all know he'll get up there and talk about Obama like he's his favorite person in the world. Some of his most racist followers parrot these lines because they're ignorant. But really, McCain and his team are just playing politics, right? But then we get to within 10 days of the election and things still aren't going well. Joe the Plumber just isn't getting you any traction... What do you need as a campaign? A real game-changer. Something so ugly you could tie to your opponent it m…

You don't fake these photos. Unlike the Clinton's whom I'm not sure ever had an authentic moment in their lives.

Not to sounds harsh, but as I've read, the Los Angeles and California taxpayers are footing a serious bill for the Jackson funeral. From my understanding, it sounds like it should be a cost that both the Jackson family and the promotion company, AEG, should be paying. The Staples Center and surround Theater hold about 25,000 people at best, and my understanding is the Jackson family had about half that held for them. it kind of almost sounds like a private ceremony and promotion. I just don't feel it's right in this economy for the taxpayers to be footing the bill when both the Jackson family and AEG have the means to foot this bill and are making money off it. The t…

Da Coach is on the McCain-Palin Team Watch video at link Mike Ditka uses locker room flair at Pennsylvania rally Updated 3:04 PM CST, Fri, Oct 31, 2008 Mike Ditka steps up for the McCain/Palin ticket at a campaign stop in Pennsylvania. Da Coach showed his passion. He had his usual flair. It was something right out of a 1985 locker room speech to the Chicago Bears. "Don't talk about what you're going to do," Mike Ditka told the crowd at a Pennsylvania rally Friday. "Prove you can do something." As Ditka stood on stage with presidential candidate John McCain and his running mate, Sarah Palin, he looked almost Presidential himself...or at least Senato…

Things in the polls look good. But I have little faith. I have almost no faith in an electorate and an electoral process that twice sent George W. Bush to the White House. I fear what the election of John McCain will mean to this country. I can't imagine four more years of ineffective governance. But, as you know, I see things differently than some others here. I have no intention of gloating or sulking on Wednesday. Regardless of the way this goes, all we can do is move ahead. If McCain wins, I hope the John McCain of 2000 re-emerges. This country deserves at least that. If Obama wins, I pray he's as smart and as energized as he's convinced me he is. We ne…

Some time back, I gave a quick "first hand" (me being from Alaska) perspective of Governor Palin and the full story of Troopergate and other news tidbits. Now, those of you in Illinois have a bit of a story your own with your Governor Blagojevich. So is this something that has been getting local attention for some time? I recall some of you expressing frustration with Obama when he was in the State Senate. I am curious what some of you may know, if anything more about this story. As Paul Harvey used to say..."And now you know, the rest of the story."

My son bought the newest "need for speed" game but we had trouble with the game constantly freezing or the message kept saying dirty disk or damaged. The disk was spotless and no scratches. So we returned it and received another with the same problem. WE called xbox and they said it was our hard drive. Which is fine since it is under warranty, but if we send our hard drive in we lose all data saved. Is there some way to retreive this data and place it in another storage unit, and then when the new drive arrives put this data back in the new hard dive ?

http://www.virtualsportsnetwork.com/2009/0...-10-screenshot/ What do you think? I love the realistic player models, in years past the QB's are the same size as LB's and their arms look like hocks of ham. The player sizes look more realistic. Also notice the refs, chain gang, stuff on sidelines, I am not sure of EVERY new feature there is but Peter Moore & EA said 6 can be seen in the screenshot.

Second verse... same as the first! A little bit louder and a little bit worse! (for McCain) I thought McCain would be a man and have the balls to bring up some of the shit he's been saying about Obama on the trail. Face to face. But no, instead Gramps stuck with his whole "tax and spend" talk while hiding behind Sarah's skirts. Pathetic. Apparently the American People felt the same way.
