With 3 OTs gone, DT, Edge, or CB would've felt better for me. I hope Loveland proves me wrong, but I am not a fan.

Reading an ESPN mailbag, it was talking about the open competition at LG, and spoke about Shaffer working there. I know this has been touched on, but hey, its slow Two things that standout/bug me about working Shaffer at LG. One. If Shaffer is in the competition at LG, that means he is not in the competition at RT. I personally hope Omiyale can play RT, but why would we simply put him there w/o legit competition? Based on his play last year, I would think he was (at minimum) have to earn a starting job this year. Not really any threads here to just address the draft over all, so here we are. Been watching a lot of edge tape and different football guys opinions on DE players. Dallas Turner is rightfully the top prospect by most people.. He has such great upside. Latu has a higher floor to contribute right away but Turner is long term . Latu also some medical concerns. I liked Jared Verse but after watching tape and opinions, he doesn't have the bend or flexibility to be a 10+ sack man regularly. To give credit AZ54 already mentioned that. With the news that they already have signed Jordan Palmer, you have to believe the outlook for Cutler's injury is not good. They are saying he was moaning in pain, and couldn't even walk to the locker room when he got into the tunnel. If he's out for the year, what do you do next season at quarterback?
