We all read mocks and criticize the so called pros who post them. Here's a chance to showcase your thoughts on who teams will draft. I'd like to see your opinions on how the draft will pan out. Below is my RD1 mock, followed by the Bears complete draft. This guy was ranked the 3rd best FA S by walterfootball, and from what I've heard/seen, he still has not been signed. I'd love to add this guy for about 4 years, $16 million, which could essentially save us the need to draft a S in round 3.

We all clearly have our idea of what we would like the Bears to do in the draft. But, unfortunaely, the Bears rarely do what we want them to, particularly in the draft. So, putting aside maybe how I WANT the draft to go, I thought I'd give a concerted effort to figure out how Jerry Angelo would want the draft to go. I'm hearing a lot of chatter about Albert moving up into the top 10 on draft boards. If this happens it should mean we're able to draft one of the top 3 LT. If Albert is still there for us at 14 it sounds more and more like that's a solid pick for us too.

Just curious. I feel it nearly serves as evidence in the boating case, proving a pattern of poor judgement, but I'm curious to see what others think. Has it changed your opinion?

It appears that one of our greatest running backs is speaking out against our latest running back bust and is reiterating that the players of today only care about the bank and not about the team nor the game itself. One of these days I hope that this trend gets turned around. Too many Is and MEs on this team and others versus Us and WEs. I think this would be a very odd move, considering the Bears already have two unproven QB's on the roster battling things out and adding Simms would only make the process more difficult. This would mean you'd have 3 guys, all capable of being starters, all of whom have flashed some positive signs, battling for one job. Still, getting Simms gives you a guy who you could turn to if Orton/Rex don't go as planned and could potentially still be a guy that could be groomed as a starter and kept on when the Bears draft a QB next year (under the assumption that Rex/Kyle fail). Appear to be steals. Harrison was a beast all night. I think Dusty should be worried that he may end up losing serious playing time. You can't make the team from the tub. Davis is a freak. He has all the tools and could end up being our best TE in the future. Peace

year after year after year after year- incompetent offense. Its so damn depressing. Then this year I watch some of the preseason games and the defense looks like crap, and with this draft it looks like the management blows. The only bright spot is special teams and that's even in jeopardy becuase they are trying to make a HOF return man a wider reciever because they are too imcompetent to draft and bring one along.

The Bears already have restructured Jays contract. Converting 5 million to bonus last Friday. Wonder who we anticipate on signing?

Bears trade up and snag my guy. Love his size/speed, bloodlines, cover skills, all of it. Finally a pick I really like. Any wrestling fans here will appreciate the drawn out Brock in the title.

If a player decides to hold out a entire season, what is his status the following season? Does he still owe the team work for the previous year? Does it matter how many years of service? Also does it matter if it's the final year of a contract? Gurus needed!:
