Would be ok 4-Jeremy Sprinkle TE-Early on I was big on Sprinkle as all around TE 4-Brenden Langley CB-Dont know much on him but seems like a good prospect. I didn't catch were Jordan Leggett went, but could pair him up with Watson if he is available. Would also consider OLB or S round 3 if a stud is still there.

It seems rumors are now building that we're likely taking a DB at #3. That's an exceedingly easy rumor to throw out there given the talented options in Adams, Hooker, and Lattimore match very well with the Bears needs. Which player would you regret NOT drafting if we can fast forward two years after this draft. Looking for the player that by 2019 is a probowler or our biggest difference maker. Asking for the regret because a prospect can develop into a better pro than his slotted draft rank or may not even be one of our current needs.

With the No. 147 pick, the #Bears draft OL Jordan Morgan from D-II Kutztown. They coached him at the Senior Bowl. Draft trend, mainly small schools and sleeper picks. We will see how it works out.. It really feels like Pace tried to outsmart everyone else with some questionable trades and sleeper picks. We will see how these all turn out. Not what I expected.

Assuming we end up with a top 10 draft pick in 2018, and knowing OLB is a big need for this team I'm keep tabs on some of the better edge defenders in college. So far none of them look like top 10 picks to me. Arden Key might have the length we desire on the edge but plays too lackadaisical for my taste. He's good at making the easy play, earns little more than that. Harold Landry has some excellent quickness in his first step but he's got little more than that. Offers little in run support. With two games down, the Bears future needs may have shifted a little. Brandon McGowan once again went down and the Bears must plan to go on with out him, so finding another S has shifted up on the Bears big board. As the world knows, the Bears also need to find a QB that won't just be counted on to be a game manager, but can be relied upon to give them a chance to win a game also. The Bears also need to continue rebuilding the OL and should look at Tampa/Carolina as a model. Right now what we are is a top team playing not to lose. We have a good if not great defense and the best special teams squad, but our offense is lacking. lacking not because of talent but because of I'll play it safe mental thinking of our coaches. David Hagh has a good article (at least IMdO) ovr at the Trib: http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...,4206126.column I particularly liked what he said about Lovie: a good pre-game coach, but not a good in-game coach. And that Lovie has surrounded himself with "yes" men. Ten wins, though, will make him look alot better, given all the prognosticators at the start of the season that had us below the Lions!

The Bears have proven over and over they cannot evaluate QB talent. Mike Holmgren has retired here to Arizona but I think the Bears should pay him to be a QB consultant for them in the upcoming draft and/or FA. Holmgren's track record finding QBs. Or if there's anyone else out there with similar credentials get him to help. We shouldn't sit back and keep hoping we make a good decision.

IMHO this is what I think the Bears should do in the FA period if all possible. In the secondary Let M.Brown and McGowan go & get Sean Jones from Clev.and Asomugha from the Raiders Move Payne to SS and Vasher/Manning to the nickel DE see if Peppers is still there to Ogun WR get either C. Johnson. T.O or T.J. Hous, Bouldin or oneone to be the number one. Move Williams to LT, sign ST. Clair at LG move Buenning to RG and find someone to back up Tait Find a center in the draft...kruetz is getting old
