Everyone seems to at least think a trade down would work well for the Bears. Most think the QB class is weak, and most think the guys we really want/need are better suited later than the third pick. So, is there any team that would be willing to move up to the #3 pick and not mortgage their entire future? Is there a team that has the picks/players to pull it off? The more and more mocks I do, the more I believe the value in the draft is in the second and third rounds. I think the talent really falls after the 3rd round overall. There may be some winners here and there, but the 2nd round will be loaded, and the 3rd will still be pretty nice. Would you be willing to wheel and deal a ton to get multiple second and/or third rounders but end up with less picks in total? The more I gain information on this draft the more I see there being a run on QBs early. Since we do not know Paces evaluation of the current roster, where do we go with the pick considering the talent on the team at this time. At QB- Glennon starts and could be the long range answer but no one has the answer to that question right now. I think him and Sanchez being added guarantees we dont go there in the first. Since the Bears moved up and invested everything for the Trubisky pick, that signals to me a few things: 1. Pace is staking his job on this pick. 2. Trubisky will be given every possible chance to win the job. 3. Trubisky absolutely will be starting next year, regardless of how well Glennon does. 4. PFF came out with there projects of OLines and have us ranked 5th. PFF is just one of many ways to look at NFL players but if we just do the eye test, we have a top10 Oline. This helps our offense become more consistent. Howard will be one of the top 5 RBs in the league this year. I watched the run and the replay, and I have to say I'm surprised some of you are so upset about the run. Was it out of bounds? Hard to tell for sure, and even the replay leaves a small amount of doubt (I personally thought he was in). Having said that, it should have come back anyway. Bellamy clearly held on the play. His initial block and subsequent drive were good, but his left arm definitely hooked the defender and restricted him. That should have been a foul. Looking thru the stats today, I could not believe Jeffery was still 2nd on the team in receiving yards. He also has the longest reception by a WR this year at 42 yards. It will be really nice to have him back in the mix with Bennett and Hester opposite of Marshall (who is tearing it up).

We got a taste of our own medicine tonight. Our offense against a legit D and we show how bad we are. Did Tice even realize what the weather was going to be like? My vote would be a matter of valve, the Bears offer him 2 mil to come back. He turned it down. I think that was a fair valve for what he would bring to the table in 2013. I dont think he would make the full season without missing games, therefore If he signed for the 2 mil, I would still draft his replacement in the first couple of rounds.
