Charles Tillman has re-signed with the#Bears on a one-year deal, I'm told. Somewhat of a surprise but pleasant one, given his legacy there

Will anyone on offense step up? Will Tony Romo live to see Tuesday or is the defensive line a little hungry? These are the questions...

Not sure if this is in the right forum. Has anyone else looked at the prices for PSL seats through the Bears PSL marketplace. Question for ya guys: Does anyone own any PSL's and what price did you pay(if you dont mind telling)? Im thinking about offering a guy for a set of 4 and was trying to gauge a fair price. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

http://blogs.suntimes.com/bears/2008/01/be...nning_back.html Bears eyeing CFL running back? Could the Bears be looking to the North for the first person to provide competition general manager Jerry Angelo has promised for running back Cedric Benson? The Metro News of Toronto reports that the Bears and New York Jets have offered contracts to running back Joe Smith, of the British Columbia Lions of the CFL. Smith set a Lions’ franchise record with 1,510 yards this past season, scoring 18 touchdowns. In two seasons with BC, he’s totaled 2,397 yards with 27 scores and a 5.4-yard per carry average. Smith originally was an undrafted free agent from Louisiana…

Below is a list of the top 25 free agents that might be on the market on March 11. Who do you think should be the best fit for our defense and maybe the offense too. My picks are in BOLD 1. Jimmy Graham, New Orleans Saints tight end 2. Greg Hardy, Carolina Panthers defensive end 3. Brian Orakpo, Washington Redskins linebacker 4. Jairus Byrd, Buffalo Bills safety 5. T.J. Ward, Cleveland Browns safety 6. Alterraun Verner, Tennessee Titans cornerback 7. Branden Albert, Kansas City Chiefs left tackle 8. Michael Johnson, Cincinnati Bengals defensive end 9. Lamarr Houston, Oakland Raiders defensive end 10. Brent Grimes, Miami Dolphins cornerback 11. Eug…

Finished one out! nice job BEARS!

My friend at work said he read an article where Emery said he was strongly considering paying for Peppers for at least one more year. Thing is, I can't find it anywhere. Anybody?

http://www.nfl.com/probowl/story?id=09000d...mp;confirm=true http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?STORY_ID=5459 Harris was voted a first alternate, Kreutz, punter Brad Maynard and tight end Greg Olsen were chosen second alternates, and Hester and Urlacher were picked third alternates.

Here's what he has to say about WSCR's Mike North (I'm really pissed about the fact I can't listen to the SCORE in the morning's because of the braying jackass.) From http://www.suntimes.com/sports/mariotti/78...i020908.article Another problem is allowing sports hosts with low IQs to pontificate about social issues. For years, WSCR's Mike North has embarrassed his hometown by forcing his views on race, religion and current events when, in truth, he's just a goof who was pulled out of a hot-dog stand 15 years ago. North has a hard enough time putting together a sports argument, much less breaking down Hillary vs. Obama. But there he was, mimicking and mocking brain-da…

I have a mock draft that I think would be great for the Bears: 1) Chris Williams OT/Vanderbilt We have to get an OL in the first. If Clady and Williams are gone you trade down and take Otah/Cherilus 2) Earl Doucet WR/LSU or Mario Manningham WR/Michigan I think we go with either of these guys in the second. WR is a need for this team. Manningham showed how fast he really is at his pro day. He screwed up at the combine. 3a) Roy Scheuning G/Oregon State Again adding depth to the OL. 3b) Kevin Smith RB/Central Florida Don't ask me why, but I really like this guy. He almost broke Barry Sanders' single season rushing record, even though he played at a small s…

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...-end-of-streak/ Favre tries to profit from end of streak Posted by Mike Florio on December 13, 2010, 7:30 PM EST Apparently, a salary of $16 million for 2010 isn’t enough. Not long after Vikings quarterback Brett Favre was placed on the inactive list for Monday night’s game against the Giants, Favre’s official web site began selling a signed football commemorating his 297-game streak of starts. For the low, low price of $499.99. “One of the most historic streaks ever in all of sports has come to an end,” the message reads on Favre’s site. “The NFL’s own Ironman Brett Favre has ended his consecutive star…

Worked with Jay in the past and Jay publicly campaigned to bring him aboard back in 2012. It would appear that Jay is here at least another year. I'm guessing Fox has sat down with Jay and his name came up. *Sits back and waits for catering to Jay comments*

I never saw a replay that showed it, and Aikman questioned it without Fox ever showing it. Can anyone confirm?

Today I've heard a ton of talk about how the Bears could be targeting Suh. He'll get at least a 100+ million contract with 60 guaranteed and become the richest defensive player in NFL history. What are your thoughts on this?My thoughts: 1. I was really skeptical when we signed Peppers to that huge deal because he had like 1 sack the previous season. That turned out to be a great signing. Could Suh have a similar impact? 2. How much is DT a need? Lamar Houston, when healthy, will project inside in a 3-4. Jay Ratliff, Fergoson, Sutton . . . that's not a bad group when I don't know how any of our DE's will convert, we have no proven linebackers, and we are incred…

Rodriguez was released today, Carmi traded, the hits just keep on rolling.

This news is a few weeks old, but it looks like most teams will start training camp on July 28th (in 2 weeks). Crazy I know. Also, it looks like teams will not bring in 90 players due to COVID-19 and because they won't have time to properly evaluate all of them and get the roster cut down in time. The consensus is that the NFL won't play any preseason games even though two are currently scheduled for late August. I would assume there is going to be a lot more soft tissue injuries this year if they don't have any physical contact build up. However, if that reduces the number of COVID cases, then that is the best move. So what do you think…

Im embarrassed for them.

It's an ankle. No word on the severity. I don't wish injuries upon anybody, but to have him out next Sunday would be a HUGE boost.
