I realize that it won't mean much if we can't run the ball or pass protect, but still I'm surprised there hasn't been much discussion here about Martz's passing scheme. I watched the preseason game, and I replayed every passing down the Bears had. The scheme is GREAT. EVERY down had multiple receivers open, sometimes WIDE open. From my vie. at the game- 1. The defensive scheme is still frustrating but with a healthy Urlacher, rejuvenated Briggs and Peppers, it seems to working perfectly. 2. Honestly, f*** this guy. Just now on ESPN's MNF pregame show, they showed the Bears highlights. Millen went on to say the OL is improved and the D is great led by Urlacher. Young followed by saying the Bears are Super Bowl material but Cutler can't make boneheaded throws like HE DID YESTERDAY. He said the stats looked good but made too many risky throws still. So who do you guys think are the winners and losers in this draft? To me, the Bears did well for themselves, but a couple of other teams did even better. Here are my picks. Best Drafts 1) Chiefs: oh man, they helped themselves a TON this year. Jon Baldwin gives them an explosive threat opposite Dwayne Bowe, and they're going to be able to throw all day in the red zone with those two plus Moeaki. Hudson was one of my favorite players in the draft: he'll be a great center. And their defense looks MILES better than last season.
