I would love to see the Bears enter a draft with extra picks stockpiled. It seems every year we enter the draft with less picks than rounds. So the thought of giving up a future draft pick to obtain a promising prospect is questionable in my mind. Especially when the prospect has a few question marks, however small they are. It appears that Isaiah Battle is a highly regarded OT prospect, one who could possibly anchor an OL on the left side for a long time. So would you roll the dice on him? I listen to the Score all day and some one brought up that Emery comes from the Scott Piola tree and he is very secretive about who he drafts. So pretty much if they mention a players name, we aint drafting him. Last year as an example I didnt hear any of our draft picks as remoting being drafted by us. So I guess Te'o off the list, I heard his name mentioned.

Packers cut Josh Sitton after failing to trade him With question marks around K Long's shoulder, in order to return Lawson to Center, I would not mind seeing the Bear's signing Sitton. I think he would be a valuable spot starter and depth for the OL. However, I would not be surprised if GB resigns him at a lower contract number.

This is not good. White has not looked very good in pre-season either. If neither of these 1st round picks work out for Pace, he's not going to last very long here. These aren't the kind of things you want to be hearing about the #9 pick in the draft. I appreciate Fangio's honesty, though. Hopefully it doesn't take him that long to get in shape and he can produce, despite the skepticism.

The Jets are the only other unanimous pick to win. That means every other underdog received one vote. The odds makers are pretty good at the spread and they are actually saying the Bears are favorites on a neutral field (3 pts the normal home field advantage bonus). It is kind of funny to see their yearly records predicting the games. ESPN "experts" put CBS "experts" to shame.

There's a ton of love for Faneca but I've heard little about Flozell Adams. The guy is a pro-bowl LT. The fact that he turns 33 in May is a major problem, but you hope to get 3 years out of a guy like that. Let Tait move back to the RT position, I'll be honest, I haven't been a big fan of signing a guy, especially since he'll cost an arm and a leg.
