Bears DT Harris' stature continues to grow So let's say Urlacher and Harris BOTH have outstanding years, BOTH voted to the Pro Bowl, BOTH considered the best at their respective positions by the end of the year, do you think Urlacher remains the main "figure head" of the Chicago Bears or does Tommie Harris' surge in popularity and his more comfortable style with the media make him the new "poster child" of the Bears?

The 4th down call, which had Lovie's conservative play-calling influence stink all over it, will always be a situation that kills the Bears as long as you continue to neglect the OL. Year after year this is the Bears' weak point, yet you continually ignore it as if LTs just come off of practice squads. Get a clue Angelo, or you'll be leaving with Lovie at the end of the year...which, after the Lions game, seems all but a guarantee.

So this is old news, but hey it's the offseason. After the Vikings canned Childress they hired Bill Musgrave - the Falcons' QB coach - to be their offensive coordinator. I don't know how Musgrave is as an Xs and Os guy, but his track record developing QBs is seriously impressive. If history's any indicator, the Bears might have to watch out for the Vikings' QB (whoever it is) in 2011. I thought this probably deserved it's own thread. I just wanted to note how much talk there is about replacing him from all the sportswriters and radio people. No one is holding back at all. We really crossed a threshold fast this past week. I guess people are remembering the three games he blew at the end last year too. I posted over the offseason that if the pattern repeated this year it would gain momentum fast. And conversely if we were winning, last year would be forgotten. Sure seems like that's how its working out. THe past two years forgiven until the pattern reestablishes and then there would be VERY little patience at that point.

I watched very little college football this year do to work, work, work.... I went to a couple of sites looking at the sleepers they have listed that had write-ups on the players (lists without some knd of breakdown on the player is meaningless to me for I do not even recognize the names, LOL). Here are some I found on two sites. Do you guys have any to add I should be aware of? Angelo loves sleepers and small school prospects and has actually done well in this area of the later rounds.

Bears with a quick 3 and out, then Bengals go 70+ yards and score a (questionable) TD. I thought we stopped them on 4th, but it's preseason.

Pittsburgh too is without their defensive leader, and he may be more important to them than Urlacher is to us, and that is saying a lot. They had absolutely no running game (36 rushing yards) vs TEN and their O-Line looked almost as bad as ours. Big Ben was sacked 4 times and threw 2 picks. He also had a couple of "near" picks but got lucky. I think this will be another close game, and definitely winnable. The early line has the Steelers favored by 3. One concern is that they have had a couple extra days to rest, recover, and prepare.

It's called a play-action pass to the TE. The Ravens showed it to you, twice. It seems to work ALL THE TIME for other teams. You might want to think about putting it into the playbook.

Who do you take if all are there Coples/DE Martin/OT Floyd.WR I would have to say Coples would be the biggest impact player at that spot.
