I've seen some drafts that start the Bears off with two DEs. I've seen some drafts that start the Bears off with an ILB and then another later. Which do you prefer? Does anyone know what the Depth Chart will be for tomorrow's game. I am kinda wondering at WR specifically and does any one know if Dusty D will play tomorrow. I am assuming that KJ will play tomorrow.

According to Joe Everett from rookiedraft.com, Alshon Jeffery is working out in Indianapolis. He weighed in at 250 pounds and he ran a 4.88 40. YUCK.

I liked his defensive style in Baltimore, and supposedly he is an offensive coach. Probly could get him for cheaper than some of the other guys out there. He's been to a Super Bowl. Check check. I'm sure there are some down sides that some of you may know better than I--would be interested to hear.

I thought this probably deserved it's own thread. I just wanted to note how much talk there is about replacing him from all the sportswriters and radio people. No one is holding back at all. We really crossed a threshold fast this past week. I guess people are remembering the three games he blew at the end last year too. I posted over the offseason that if the pattern repeated this year it would gain momentum fast. And conversely if we were winning, last year would be forgotten. Sure seems like that's how its working out. THe past two years forgiven until the pattern reestablishes and then there would be VERY little patience at that point.

ESPN is reporting that Dante Fowler Jr has suffered a knee injury at rookie mini camp. Exact details have not been disclosed.

Marlon Brown Hasn't played in a reg season game 2015 2013 undrafted FA. Had a back injury in 2015, signed to a 1 year deal to the broncos but was waived after another back injury. Later resigned by the broncos and released again in 2017. Seems to be a camp body.

I don't really see a logical thread for tracking Williams progress. I'm was actually shocked as I read this. They certainly don't appear to be holding anything back with Williams. He's going to experience it all and that means they think he can handle it and they want him ready for anything in game 1. I figured first day in practice it's going to be kid gloves type of stuff like we've always seen before. The Bears are working to set up a visit with free agent WR Bryant Johnson. It'd be Johnson's first visit. He could be in Chicago by early next week. It's no surprise that the overrated wideout isn't being highly sought after.
