Sort of shocking considering most guys with first round grades were still on the board, and Courtland Sutton went one pick after us to the Broncos. So hopefully Daniels becomes a perennial starter and helps anchor the interior. I would've personally moved down and accumulated picks (if possible). There was a run on OLINE (3 in 5 picks) so I am sure that had something to do with it.

Now has anyone ever considered that his blood sugar levels could be affecting his play/decision making? Having first hand experience with Type 1 Diabetes, their blood sugar is always on their mind, and there are times where they are just "off". With the No. 147 pick, the #Bears draft OL Jordan Morgan from D-II Kutztown. They coached him at the Senior Bowl. Draft trend, mainly small schools and sleeper picks. We will see how it works out.. It really feels like Pace tried to outsmart everyone else with some questionable trades and sleeper picks. We will see how these all turn out. Not what I expected.

If you were JA and you knew Chris Simms was on his way out of TB, would you trade away the draft pick we will receive from Brian Griese. The draft pick is a 6th RD pick and should be in the top half if not top top third. Also, Simms contract will expire after the season and we will have to resign him to keep him. The good part about it, we can get another stop gap QB for cheap if Rex fails to win another contract. 1. Orton 2. Two receivers I haven't heard anyone really talk about as possibilities for the Bears, which would seem to be for good reason as they share a lot of similarities to Devin Hester (at least in theory). But let's say the top receivers are gone by our second round pick (Crab, Maclin, DHB, Nicks, Britt, Robiskie), and Harvin has somehow falled and Williams is on the board. Should the Bears consider taking either of them (as talent-wise they would be considered good value) or do you pass because they seem too redundant?
