Cole is reporting that Vincent Jackson has narrowed his choice to the Bears & Bucs. Take it for what it is worth. Note: I personally put little validity into these type of leaks because I assume they have to be coming from the players and their reps and they probably want to throw a few teams out there to push/drive the market. I have to believe Emery has kept his free agent plans very close to the vest given the way he plans on running the Bears (e.g., secretively).

Sort of shocking considering most guys with first round grades were still on the board, and Courtland Sutton went one pick after us to the Broncos. So hopefully Daniels becomes a perennial starter and helps anchor the interior. I would've personally moved down and accumulated picks (if possible). This O-line debate has me thinking back to the days of when I first started following the Bears and the draft(yes they did have face masks lol) and my earliest memories date back to 1966 and with that being said the Bears have only had one GM since that time who was hell bent on developing the o-line. That was Jim Finks who was considered one of the best GMs in NFL history. Under his watch the Bears drafted 4 OTs number one(Lick, Albrecht,Van Horne and Covert) in a span of about 8 years. So what gives with this guy? He has the same amount of receptions as Bobby Massie and Ryan Nall, 1. He is 11th on the team in receptions and has only been targeted 3 times all season and was not targeted against Atlanta. For a 2nd round pick, you would expect at least a little better production at this point. If you remember, there were some other TE names the team could've targeted, guys like Adam Trautman who was supposed to be a project, has 3 receptions for 34 yds, Harrison Bryant has 7-59 and a TD.
