There has been some concern expressed to the Admins of the forum about avatars being used by some posters. There are posters on the forum who have young children who either read posts on the forum or are present when the parent is reading posts on the forum and are uncomfortable, for various reasons, for them to see avatars of a sexually provocative nature. Being the father of 5, grandfather of 9, great grandfather of 3, I can certainly understand. The Admins therefore would certainly appreciate if forum posters would consider less sexually explicit avatars. If a registered member of the forum would like to do so there is also another option. In all the bliss and excitement of a new season with a pro bowl QB I just realized, haven't seen any mention of pools this year unless I missed seeing it. If not it's cool, I know it's a lot of work to manage and my thanks for putting in the time in previous seasons.

I know this will not be well received but whatever. Before I say my piece, understand that I want more than anything for Jay to succeed. That being said, he continues to look like crap. Has Webb helped? No. Should Tice maybe call for more receivers than just Marshall to get the ball? Probably. For the record, the offense was terrible. I realize that. But I am getting tired of this D getting a pass, or some saying they played well. Maybe if we compare this game to the cincy or Az games, then sure, they played well. But only if we set the bar that low. On the ground, this unit should be embarrassed. Denver Broncos extend DE Derek Wolfe to a four year contract. He was one of the defensive targets I hoped the Bears would get. Still a wild dream they can get Wilkerson DE or Berry S.

Bears signed DE Akiem Hicks to a four-year, $48 million extension. I really hope he stays as dominant as he has looked for the life of the contract.

So, after this weekend I got to thinking about what might be ailing J'Marcus Webb. Why this sudden epiphany? Well during the game I noticed a play of particular interest and a curious series of events. Somewhere during the 2nd quarter I believe is when it took place. As the Bears offense is lining up I notice Marshall point at something on the ground, near Webb, and draws Cutler's attention to it. Cutler looks down at it and subsequently calls a timeout. If you look at the roster as is I think our DL is going to be a major upgrade over last year.
