Got to love it.

LOL it looked good for Grossman wearing #5 he threw a 87 yard bomb to Jacobs for the Texans

Boras talks about Gaines addition on Chicagobears.com What have been your impressions of free-agent addition Michael Gaines? I’ve been impressed with Michael since he’s gotten here. He’s tried to learn the offense as quickly as he can. He gives us some versatility as well because he can line up as a fullback for us as well as an inline blocker. He just has that mass. He’s got size to him. He’s probably the heaviest tight end we have. He could be both an inline blocker as well as a fullback for us.

http://www.theredzone.org/BlogDescription/...go/Default.aspx Westbrook would love to play in Chicago Feb 26 2/26/2010 2:53:32 PM | More ESPNChicago.com reports former Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook said Friday he would love to play for the Chicago Bears, and he's not concerned about potential concussion issues. "I would love to play in Chicago; I would love to play anywhere," Westbrook said on "The Waddle & Silvy Show on ESPN 1000. "They have a pretty good quarterback there [in Jay Cutler]; great defense. "There's no question that I would love to definitely play in Chicago." And Westbrook wasn't deterred by th…

Pardon me for bringing a little joy into this den of gloom and doom. But I had a little sip of kool-aid after our sweep of the Packers... Given all the damage done to this team: Losing a DT before the season started to his continuous run-ins with the law, another starting DT to IR and another having health issues all season. Losing pretty much the entire OL to age. Losing the better of the two RB's to FA and having little depth at the position. Losing BOTH starting corners for chunks of the season. Losing your starting safety to IR early on and having another guy on the team acquired via FA who just plain blows. Losing your starting Q…

If that's our competition lock up the division

Here's a couple videos with some good thoughts about our running game with Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright. Glynn Morgan explains how pulling either OT could make it really hard to stop our run game. If he's right in Week 1 GB could be in for a surprise. I like Schmitz's analysis on Braxton Jones and since he covers his run blocking you can see how he was utilized last year. The assumption is we'll now be doing the same type of plays from left or right.

Imagine Trump making the statement: http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,6895288.story Big time contract for a kicker - wow. Wonder how much is incentive based. Peace

Olindo Mare Signed

I lost a lot of respect for him after running his mouth on the radio during the whole Brandon Marshall thing. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0904-story.html

Would have been nice, but time to look for younger and cheaper...

Adam SchefterVerified account ‏@AdamSchefter Bears paid their former kicker Robbie Gould the $500,000 workout bonus due him this week. http://es.pn/2cdZ4WK

In case you were wondering ... 4 years $19 million. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001035810/article/niners-sign-robbie-gould-to-4year-19m-contract

http://m.espn.go.com/general/blogs/blogpos...amp;src=desktop As Robbie was kicking his second field goal (his 10th in row from 50 or more) my wife commented. "Robbie needs to go over to Hester and say 'how many times have you scored today'? God I love her.

With his 2nd field goal of the game Robbie became the most accurate kicker in NFL history. With his last 2, he is no longer. Not sure what the math is to get him back on top, but he's gonna have to start another streak. Just sucks that he set an all time record and didn't get to enjoy it for a night...
