It finally has come out that Tommie Harris has had his knee scoped in March and he is suffering from some problems with that surgically repaired hamstring. So this is not good news.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,4948801.story Coaches credited Harris w/ 4 tackles and 2 pressures after film review. Love how those stats always rise so much. Lovie said he was pleased w/ the play of the entire DL, and said Harris was disruptive. Was that everyone else's take? It sure wasn't mine. I thought were were going up against one of the weakest OLs in the game, and did very little to pressure the QB. Wale sure didn't seem to be capable of beating St. Clair. I didn't see a ton of pressure on the other side from Brown, though he got in there occasionally. But from the middle, I really just do not recall seeing Harris getting mu…

  9. Harris: We owe it to Lovie to play better Posted by Michael David Smith on November 16, 2009 6:53 PM ET Bears defensive tackle Tommie Harris says he and his teammates need to get to the playoffs not just for themselves, but for coach Lovie Smith -- who, according to Harris, has been so good to the players that they must repay him by playing well. "We owe it to him," Harris said Monday. "That guy has been great to us from training camps to what he's done with the facilities. Different things that you see other coaches really don't care about, but this guy has come in and helped us out tremendously, and we owe it back to him." It's a little surprising that Ha…

Would Marvin Harrison be worth a look at? Or is he being shunned by the NFL due that that club shooting?

Appear to be steals. Harrison was a beast all night. I think Dusty should be worried that he may end up losing serious playing time. You can't make the team from the tub. Davis is a freak. He has all the tools and could end up being our best TE in the future. Peace

Jeff Dickerson, ESPN, tweeted that Marcus Harrison was taken off NFLI, and will practice today. As quick as that went, it seems to me the staff was making a statement to the kid.

With Dahl leaving Atlanta for St. Louis, this leaves this group left for FA OL: Sean Locklear, OT, Seattle Matt Light, OT, New England Jared Gaither, OT, Baltimore Ryan Harris, OT, Denver Brian Waters, OG, Kansas City Kyle DeVan, OG, Indianapolis Derrick Dockery, OG, Washington Dockery is interesting. He was very good in 2009 but he didn't fit in Shanahan's ZBS. Gaither was good up until his back injury, and we all know those don't go away completely. Harris isn't a fit, because he's a ZBS OT. Waters might work, depending on the window the FO thinks the Bears have. If he thinks it's a 1-2 year window, Waters would be a nice sign. …

Was going to post the link but it was a quick blurb. It said the Jets are more than likely going to cut Percy Harvin and that the Bears and Raiders are already early suitors. I hope this is only speculative rumor. Can't see it working out well. He's the true definition of locker room distraction.

Harvin reaggravated his shoulder and AD went off limping after he was tackled and his ankle got all bent.

  17. Seen this on Twitter. Brady and Mahomes were never considered generational. Who ? Andrew luck - no Trevor Lawrence - no Joe Burrows - no Eli Manning was never stated to be generational Aaron Rodgers was never called generational Russell Wilson was never considered generational Matt Stafford wasn't Can anyone think of somebody? Maybe Peyton Manning, was he considered generational? In the last 20 years only Manning won one SB that was considered a generational prospect.

  18. Im wondering if its ever been done. We have requisite playmaking ability along the line and it seems to me we could drop 1-2 guys into zone as needed...but really put the heat on pass rush and pound gaps in the run game. What if our starting D line was Brown, Dvoracek, Harris, Ogun and Anderson. Leave Hunter and Urlacher at the second level...and try something different. Just brainstorming. Flamesuit is on. And where do I send my resume for the potentially available D Coordinator job?

We've had many discussions on how fickle the media can be, but now they are turning on Russell Wilson. He's been a media darling for a decade and now he's rumored to be a phony douche. He even got ripped by Keshawn Johnson today for screwing over Lamar Jackson with the contract he signed. The love comes and the love goes.

Cutler is on a current run of solid play that is longer than any other time in his career. Everyone always talks to Cutler's inconsistency or the Good Jay Bad Jay, etc. Looking over his Game Logs, you can see that was indeed the case for most of his early career. However, it looks like we have entered a new era and the sample size is large enough to believe it will continue. Starting in the Arizona game, he now has 6 straight games with a QB Rating above 88, and even excluding the partial game, he has 5 straight games with a QB Rating of 88.4 or higher. Looking back at his Game Logs, the closest run was 6 games to start 2014 where he was 82.5 or higher. Before that …
