Projected 5th-6th round, so some value here. I was figuring OL or LB with this pick, so it makes sense. He seems like he may stick around to fill a backup role, but better suited for OG.

Sutton is a risk pick, but 1/2 the first round picks are usually busts. I remain optimistic that is will all work out and cant wait to see this happen on the field. We still can get a DT we would have liked if they took him in the first round left on the board. Top DTs left Jerrinigan Nix Hageman Truitt Quarles Sutton Anthony Johnson. We are going to get a good player in the second round at a position of need. Dont sleep on Ego Ferguson either or Jones from PSU. We will grab a good player there. If we get Jerrigan, Nix or Hageman, we did good in this draft no matter who else we draft.

Seems like a positive vibe coming from the defensive players.

He says that when he watched Nix on film he seemed to be on the ground too much. That is a big no no to DL coaches because they feel you can't make a play on the ground.

Supposedly the Chiefs are floating Eric Berry out there for a 2R pick. More than just a few websites are reporting this, but none of them are really mainstream websites. Because of that I'm not really buying it. Also the fact that the Chiefs seemingly don't have an option behind him is another reason to question things. But in the off chance it's true I'd absolutely love for the Bears to make it happen. Hekk I'd give em a 2nd rounder next year too.
