I can think of at least 5-6 teams that would've taken the "risk". The best part is that Miami would have just released him. Bears bringing in Dont'a Hightower to visit and McIntosh....... they also waived Max Komar, so its going to be a LB in the draft or FA. I told Jason a while back that Komar wont see the roster this year......so who is next Sanazenbacher? Maybe if we are targeting a bigger WR like any one over 6'2 like Cutler has asked for. We brought in Randle maybe Hill/Quick and on the radar as well as Floyd if he slips that far to #19.

I was thinking: if you could add ANY two NFL players (current) to the current Bears team, who would they be? I've thought long and hard about this, and I've decided that 3 months ago, I would've said Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson. But, the Bears just used a 2nd round pick on Alshon Jeffery and two 3rd's + $9m/year on Brandon Marshall. So, I came up with these two: Joe Thomas, LT, Browns Haloti Ngata, DT, Ravens Thomas and Ngata are both in their primes and both very good. I love football season. Now that college season has started, I like to follow my team Notre Dame, but more importantly I like to follow top players I'd like to see the Bears draft. Today I'm watching North Carolina, they have a LB Kevin Reddick I've seen some mocks with the Bears taking in the 2nd. How about we use this post to mention players we like for the Bears.

Thayer listed the things he'll be watching for during training camp. One thing caught my eye, a very welcome sight indeed is that our Dline is learning to use counter moves on their pass rush. We've all been asking for this for years and perhaps it has finally arrived.
