Im sorry to get negative but George screwed up. If Jim Harbaugh was available he was the only HC candidate in this years hiring cycle that was a NO brainer. George could have hired Jim and even if it failed no one could question why he hired Jim. If Eberflaus fails and Jim wins in MN George is going to look like the dumb ass we already know he is. Does George get a 4th chance at fixing the Bears????? After the presser , I really Like Poles. Eberflaus didnt wow me but he didnt piss me off. If they win this post will never get brought back up.

Call me crazy, but I'm pretty optimistic after this game. 1. The LB's today were outstanding. Briggs and Urlacher were great, and Tinoisamoa was flying around, too. 2. It seems like Cutler and Martz really do get along. 3. The secondary played pretty well for the opportunities given. Sure, Stafford missed the 2nd half, but they had double-digits yards at halftime, too. 4. Forte looks very quick, even faster then he did in 2008. 5. The OL wasn't good and the WR's either had drops or ran the wrong routes, but I expect the OL to suck, and the WR's will improve. It was game #1. Obviously they have to limit the TO's.

Other than a few high end drafts picks, Britton, Britt, Nicks, I think almost all the private workouts are second day picks. They seem to be looking for that diamond in the rough all the time. Althought, come to think of it, thats where they draft the best anyways. Payne , Graham, ect.

I hope our staff is smart enough to sit Tommie for another week or two. When feeling good, he is a beast. Idonije outplayed what Harris has done lately. Lovie, sit Tommie! It's looking like we can make a playoff push and a healthy Tommie Harris will go a long long way. We have enough average guys to fill his shoes right now, we don't need Tommie average.

The Bears have actually played some decent football in almost every game (not vs DAL) this season. We started the season taking a 14-13 lead into the 4th quarter against Houston, were only down 9-7 at halftime against PHI, went into the 4th at IND down by 6, and shutout the Jaguars for 3 quarters. With all the injuries, we have actually showed some potential. I don't know if you can say the same for Cleveland, who looks destined for 0-16; SF, who even with Kaepernick looks like a 2 win team, and after tonight, you can put the Jets into the "sucks ass" category too.
