The man almost single-handedly lifted me to victory this week in fantasy football. I was going up against the guy with Tony Romo and still won! LOL! This week wasn't all bad football-wise, for me. Thank you, AJ!

That's where we are. Without an interior presence in the D line, we're not going very far this year. We'll only beat inferior opponents. To be able to beat the Packers and others we've yet to face, we need to improve this aspect of the team. Given all the injuries we've taken there, I just don't know who can fill that role. Yeah, Cutler had a bad start to yet another game. But when the gave him Alshon, he hit him. When other receivers were open, he found them. Marshall was taken away. Got seats in section 438 row 35 seats 13 & 14. Should have a great view near mid field for the game and Ditka's retirement ceremony!!! Looked at several ticket sites and I gotta say I like that StubHub lists the final cost up front. Ticket Exchange was more expensive, Vivid Seats seems to have the highest fees. Hoping for great weather and a Bears win!!!!

Might be worth taking note. Take into account that just a few weeks ago he was interviewed and said that he didn't want for Jay to throw to him if he were double or triple covered and that there were other options available on the team if need. And....we know his back (?) has been bothering him for some time now.

While out driving I was listening to 670 and whoever it was (4 o clock hour) brought up an grading system that gives both offensive and defensive lines ratings based on several different things, sacks, disruptions, holding calls for/against, and they then devise a percentage off that. To the surprise of no one the Bears DLine ranks 2nd to last with a 17.5% rating . Only the 0-4 Giants rank lower at 17.1%. The OL, to some peoples surprise ranks 24th on this list with a pressure rate of 29.9% The OL will obviously have some bumps in the road but over the first quarter of the season I'm a little surprised no one has knocked their play. With the Chargers in serious need of outside LB help, and the Bears in serious lack of pass rush ability from McClellin I'm curious how many here would consider trading SMC to the Chargers if they inquired? And if so what would you want in return? The Chargers have Melvin Ingram and Freeney out. Freeney is a stop gap on their roster so they could view SMC as a long term solution for them opposite Ingram. For our part the Bears are already getting Washington reps which IMO indicates they know they aren't getting enough out of SMC so they are hoping they can speed up Washington's development. The Bears on Tuesday signed safety Sean Cattouse to the practice squad and terminated the practice squad contract of running back Harvey Unga. Cattouse, a Chicago native who attended Hubbard High School, entered the NFL in 2012 with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent from Cal, where he played with Bears safety Chris Conte. Cattouse was a three-time all-conference selection, playing in 49 games with 26 starts and recording 185 tackles, seven interceptions, 17 pass breakups, seven tackles for losses, two sacks and two fumble recoveries.

We played a lousy game Sunday and with NO coming up, keep in mind. NO has played 3 games at home. There only road game they had trouble beating a lousy team, TB 16-14 There strengths are our weaknesses, Graham and Sporles, but keep in mind we have Kromer on our team now. I think Kromer will give us insight that will help greatly. NO have never played well in Chicago. There are coming off a short week. Teams have been able to run the ball against them, we need to pound the ball and hold the clock. Graham will get his catches but the key to this game is stop Sproles and we will be in good shape.
