Three times, after we put Farve on his arce, I watched the ref helping Farve up. I swear, I have never noticed a ref helping a player to his feet. I have seen the opposing players help a player up, which always irritated me, but I have NEVER seen the refs help a player get up, but saw it happen three times last night w/ Farve. Have I just never noticed this before, or was that truly something out of the norm?

Denver just traded Peyton Hillis, this years 6th and a late round pick next year for Brady Quinn. Kyle had a good year with us then gets traded away. He put up good numbers last year for Denver and now who know what will happen. Poor guy just cant catch a break.

Myself & two other people were on seperate computers at noon last Saturday to try & get Bears tickets, with very little luck. Has anyone else noticed that there have been quite a few OBVIOUS pass interference situations on the Bears WRs/TEs, and they have not been called? It seems that there has been many more than normal recently, with replays in more than one game making announcers say, "Yeah, that should have been pass interference." Is this a matter of respect for the passing game, or lack thereof?

Everyone knows how bad our offense was this year, but looking at the numbers, our defense fell off just as much from 2006. They were worse against the pass by 37 yds/g, worse against the run by 23 yds/g, had 2 less Defensive TDs, and were worse in every major defensive category other than sacks: > 06 - 07 INT 24 - 16 FF 23 - 20 PD 85 - 64 SK 40 - 41 Losing 11 Turnovers is huge for this team. Also, the passes defended drop-offed considerably (Vasher?). I hope the Bears can also defend better against the screen pass. We seemed to get burned all day by that play. Hopefully this was related to all the injuries on the defense.

I still like the idea of bringing in Pat Sims. He's not quite the penetrater Melton is but he is capable of pushing the pocket and he's solid against the run. If they don't sign a guy I'm really hoping Donald falls. Jerrnigan would be nice but we need a guy who's gonna get after the QB.
