For this to work they'd have to get a high 1st Rd pick. Can also be a little strategy toward getting Jeffrey to sign the deal on the table. Anyone else got any ideas on why we'd waste time on this smoke screen?

Story Seems pretty devastating for the center position to go down, especially when we were really getting a small glimpse into some of the stable linemen we were gonna build for the future. I dont know much about Larsen, but can he play center?

What are your thoughts on the biggest disappoint this year. Mine is the offense and especially the offensive line. I understand the Cutler concerns and it depends on everyone's position i.e. Are you a Culter or a hater. My position is that I felt he has the physical tools and hoped he would gain the mental apptitude to play the position however his salary this year is guaranteed so if you can't trade him do you cut him and take the $16 million + cap hit. I wouldn't. Should we have drafted a QB in hindsight yes but the ones drafted this year could regress. These players need to find a new address at the end of the season: Marquis Wilson - Can't stay healthy Deonte Thompson or Josh Bellamy - One can stay for their special teams play but neither should play receiver. Logan Paulson - Has done nothing since he arrived. I'd keep Daniel Brown over him. Ted Larson - I prefer Kush. Cutler - Of course. Hoyer - Accumulated a lot of yardage but could not lead a winning drive or throw a semi-accurate deep ball. Any others? Peace

I think about this every year. Go all out on one side of the ball, and drastically improve the unit. This year, do it on defense and you have a chance of creating the best D in the NFL. Is RB a high need? No. Do we need a complement to Howard? Maybe. Some say yes. If so, what does this complement need? I'd say some of the following: -Elusiveness -Home Run speed -Ability to catch out of the backfield Gents, I present to you, Tarik Cohen, RB, NC A&T. You may not have heard of this guy, but I'm pretty familiar with him. He's undersized, but pretty damn amazing. He'll likely run a low 4.4 forty, runs with power for his size, and makes the right decision over and over. He'd be a great complement to Howard.

I don't have a lot to do at work today, so I'm running tons of mocks. The more and more I see them, the less and less I think a quality CB will be available after the 3rd round. Since there is virtually no way we go OL in RD1, that makes me think the value of CB is in the 2nd and 3rd. Multiple QBs with promise can be had in the mid-rounds, same goes for OL, S, and WR. But I just don't see it at CB. Is there a CB you like a lot that could warrant a mid-round pick that we'd like? There's only one I like, and it's Kevin King from Washington. I'm not quite sure why he's falling. Any good value out there?

Starting to read up on Pat Mahomes and starting to get a crush, so I did a mock using the www.first-pick.com site so I can trade and I manipulated a 3rd round deal. 1-3 Myles Garrett is available (some how?) And the phone rings. Tennessee offers round 1 picks 5 and 18. Garrett is a stud, but too hard to pass up this value. 1-5 Solomon Thomas DE-Derek Barnett also worth consideration.
