at 50 if we don't have a LB prospect or DT prospect that is a good fit and a QB prospect is there I would pull the trigger especially if it Geno Smith. Getting him at 50 is great value and insurance for another Cutler injury. I'm not 100% comfortable with Mc Cown and Blanchard as 2 and 3. I want a QB in this draft but just like passing on Floyd and Ogletree in rd 1 passing on a Barkley and Smith at 50 is the same.

Drafted by the Cowboys at 30. Grew up about 15 miles from where I live and went high school five miles away at Big Foot High School. I stood about five feet from him on the field at Camp Randall. I hate Cowboys but I will be rooting for him. Peace

Watched the 30 for 30 episode last night about the 1983 draft. It was very interesting. The Bears ended up with a monster draft that year: Jimbo Covert Willie Gault Mike Richardson Dave Duerson Tom Thayer Richard Dent Mark Bortz That's unbelievable. (Four OLinemen drafted that year, BTW). Little did I know, however, they were briefly in talks with the Raiders for Howie Long and some other guy.
