  1. Started by adam,

Velus Jones is not going to be anything. I would not be surprised if he was cut in the offseason. At his age, they touted this maturity and work ethic. The dude is a WR that can't catch and fumbles, which is 50% of his job. It doesn't matter how fast he is if he can't catch or when he does, fumbles. The Gordon that was drafted finally showed up. He was all over the place, INT, fumble recovery, and some great tackling. This is the guy everyone expected. I hope he finishes the season like this. I have been mixed on the coaching staff, but what they are doing with this roster is quite impressive. From last year, the defense lost Mack, Hicks, Quinn, Smith, and Ja…

  3. I used the GBND big board to do our first 3 picks. I went up 10 spots and down 10 to decide who to pick to give a value specify draft. 3rd. 88 Cris lindstrom/ OG/ BC I think he will replace Long in our starting lineup either during to injury or next year when we cut Long. 4th 114. Devin Singletary/RB/ Flor Atlantic. He is quick and very capable of becoming a Hunt type of back. 5th 138. Nasir Adderley S/ Delaware. The kid can play , looked great in the senior bowl. Give it a shot: https://gbnreport.com/preliminary-top-50-prospects-for-2019/

Some Bye Week fun, I was thinking about the Anthony Miller draft-day trade; at first when it occurred, I thought Pace had the right idea, we would get a WR a year early with the following year's WR corps looking fairly weak (even though we got Ridley in the 4th). However, now over a year removed from that decision, did Pace pick the wrong player? DJ Chark and Mark Andrews were both available when Miller was selected. What if the Bears just stayed at #105? The best skill player selected after that slot is probably SEA TE Will Dissly, so if they picked him, they would still have their 2019 2nd rounder where guys like McLaurin, Metcalf, and Hardman were still availabl…

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgMEZhkfwwY...093&index=2 YBR does a great breakdown of the offensive line. And I was saying as soon as I was watching my DVR last night that I don't think we'll see Lance Lewis starting week 2 of preseason. He is by far the weakest link on the offensive line.

After spending most of their air time praising the Chargers and giving them credit for fighting through multiple injuries ESPN analysts were lost when talking about the Bears, especially after the game was over. Did you know the Chargers had to play with several backup Oline players? Poor Chargers. Did you see the Chargers were missing two of their top 3 WRs? Blah blah blah... let's play some football! Oline: Not a whole lot of goodness here with plenty of mistakes all the way around but for the most part the offense was effective enough in the run game and passing game. Ducasse again lined up at LG so he'll be on the bench when Grasu returns leaving Omam…

Its not just the media that has restrictions but, the fans also. The security was asking fans to not record anything but you can take all the still photos you want. The rumors about Fox being a touch paranoid are true.

After the week that has been, ... the score the Bears have (and with the win I might add) is 34. Madlith: What do you think about that as a tribute? I say well done Bears.

they would do it cause most likely covet Devin thomas, and could get him @ 14, we would do it to get 1st shot at OT like albert or clady before panthers/broncos. plus bills and bears have good relationship.

  16. SPECTER TO LIMBAUGH: “THERE WAS FILMING” Posted by Mike Florio on March 21, 2008, 5:54 p.m. Senator Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) is promoting a book (which, frankly, should make reasonable people wonder even more about his motives for getting in the middle of the NFL’s business). And thus Senator Specter is doing the kinds of thinks that people who promote books do — he’s seeking out opportunities to talk about the book on radio programs. On Friday, he appeared on Rush Limbaugh’s show. A full transcript of the interview is available at Limbaugh’s web site. At the tail end of the interview, Limbaugh asked Specter about the status of the inquiry into the Patriots’…

Hi All, Just wanted to say thanks to Pixote for starting this great forum and for all who contribute, I benefit so much from being a part of this forum! I would never be able to know nearly as much about the Bears and football in general if it were not for this board, many members here are knowledgeable and helpful and I learn a great deal from reading the posts! Keep on making this board a great one, thanks to all!

http://www.chicagobears.com/news/FutureOpponents.html Home: Saints Bucs Jaguars Titans Packers Vikings Lions Away: Falcons Panthers Texans Colts Packers Vikings Lions With one game remaining and the playoffs out of reach, I figure it's a good time to start looking ahead to 2008. What come first? The draft. Next? Who we play, and that's listed above. I think that's a pretty easy schedule with the exception of Indy, Jacksonville, and possibly Tampa Bay. What do you guys think of it?

So, you want an additional challenge? I have started an additional league as a Pay League, costing 29.99 to join. You will receive a free Draft Kit and live scoring (Stattracker) which normally costs 14.99 for players in free leagues and you will also receive those benefits in the free TalkBears League, if you are playing in them, by signing up for the Pay League. This will off-set the cost of the 29.99 if you had planned on purchasing them for the free league as you would then get them for all Yahoo leagues you are signed up for. If you did not sign up for the free TalkBear Leagues, you are still welcome to sign up for this one! The live draft will be a week b…
