Here is what one draft guru had to say about who we pick C.J. Mosley Alabama LB He is one of the most underrated players in the draft, and could be the successor to Lance Briggs or Brian Urlacher. The Bears need to take the best available defensive player. The ideal pick would be Donald, but there is virtually no way he is available at 14. Mosley is every bit the player Donald is. The difference in his draft stock is there are questions about his ability to stay healthy. If the Bears' doctors don't sign off on Mosley or if Mosely is off the board, they could go for Kyle Fuller. Others in the mix are safeties Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and Calvin Pryor.

Hester needs to come off kickoffs. He has 2 fumbles so far this yr and simply does not look the same. Personally, I think he simply cannot handle all the responsibilities given to him. Leave him on punt returns but give Wolfe or Manning the kickoff duties going forward. Peace

Sounds about right. I don't think he'd have gotten fined at all if it weren't for his opening his mouth earlier in the week talking about it before he did it. Bears have a bunch of players injured and on C19 list. Minnesota leads the league in sacks but allows the 4th most yards (only behind NYJ, HOU, and SEA), and is in the bottom 8 in pts against. Bears are at home and Cousins is 3-9 in primetime on the road (last win at Soldier Field lol). The only positive is ARob, EJack, and Goldman are not playing. Those are additions by subtractions. Hopefully, Ifedi or Wilkenson can play at RT. This team is a mess, from the top to bottom. Hard to pick them to win in these conditions. Profootballfocus just did a study tabulating how many "catchable" passes were dropped by each receiver and TE last season: they watched each pass themselves and classified a pass as "catchable" if the receiver could get his hands on it and you would "reasonably expect it to be caught" - so passes deflected, slips, and passes thrown where the receiver could only get a fingertip on the ball wouldn't count. Last night out of all the Bears running attempts only one was a toss to the outside to Bell the rest of the attempts were between the tackles. Maybe thats why we averaged 2.3 yards per run. This is what I saw at TC and that is what they did last night. I don't understand this type of thinking especially when they bring a reciever split wide in motion back towards the o-linemen essentially bringing another defender into the box. Last night the blitz pickup was horrible and it needs to improve dramatically or the QBs are going to get killed. On an unrelated note, we've also been linked to wanting Cullen Jenkins from the Packers. Pending cost, both these guys have glaring red flags with inconsistency and health.
