Nice start! Here are two things the Bears need to do to continue this streak. 1.) Find one more O Tackle for depth. There has to be someone available in FA we can pick up now. I'd read teams were waiting to sign veterans until after week 1 was over so they didn't have to gaurantee the entire season of salary. Hopefully there's someone out there who might be excited about the fact that the Bears look better than expected and will choose them over someone else, if all else is equal. 2.) We are finally using Rashied. After all those times last week when we showed a possible end run we finally do run the end around and it works. The play calling is completely different from last year. Are we sure we still have the same coaches.

What the hell they thinking? I totaly believe the coaches lost this game, Cant even make one yard when Forte had about 100? WTF they thinking.

Matt Forte is a stud. I loved this guy coming out and he reminds me of Brian Westbrook- he can catch it and run it, and he could have 3 TDs so far rushing. This guy is going to be our back for a long time now, barring injuries. Thoughts?

The older I get the less I agree with being a sports traditionalist. I want exciting and cutting edge and more respect for what we can do offensively! Yes, I did love the way we pounded the rock in week one against Indy but we were able to dictate the pace and control the line of scrimmage. Week 2 has shown that right now if we do not control the line of scrimamge for 60 minutes we can not adjust to compete in a shoot out ala teams like the Broncos, Dallas, Philly, and Greenbay! In Baseball I think both leagues should have a DH casue I can't stand watching the pitcher bat. Pitching and def are very important in baseball as is running the ball and keeping the oppone…

Now that McGowan is out for the year what do we do...promote someone from the practice squad to take his place on the 53 man roster or sign someone off the FA wire. What do you think we should do. IMHO we should promote Bowman the CB since he made the 53 man roster in the first place. But do we need a back up at safety or are we happy with Brown,Payne Manning and Steltz

Monday, 12:33 p.m. The Bears terminated the contract of guard Tyler Reed this afternoon. Although he was in the running for a spot on the 53-man roster during training camp down in Bourbonnais, Reed hasn't been able to elevate himself off the practice squad in three years as a pro. Reed was originally a sixth-round selection of the Bears out of Penn State in the 2006 NFL Draft.

Metcalf was suspended for violating the league’s policy regarding anabolic steroids and related substances. The suspension is effective immediately. At work today, I couldn't help but to sit back and think about the Bears future. Here's the way I see it. While our defense is aging, we do have some young, starting, good players: Briggs is 27. A. Brown is 29. Dvoracek is 25. Harris is 25. Idonije is 27. Vasher is 26. Tillman is 27. Payne is 24. Harrison is 24. Graham is 23. Our defensive back-ups have looked good for what they've done, too. Roach is 23. Steltz is 22. J. Williams is 24. McBride is 23. LaRocque is 22. Bowman is 23. Also, Urlacher, Briggs, Wale, Adams, and Urlacher still have some productive years left, too, IMO.
