http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/...ers-ripped-him/ Jay Cutler had tears in his eyes when told other players ripped him Posted by Michael David Smith on January 24, 2011, 8:45 AM EST Several NFL players took to Twitter on Sunday to rip Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, questioning his toughness for leaving the NFC Championship Game with a knee injury. A story written after the game by Jim Trotter of Sports Illustrated will do nothing to change that perception of Cutler. Although Trotter’s portrayal of Cutler is sympathetic — the headline is “Don’t question Cutler’s toughness” — Trotter offers a detail that is sure to add fuel to the fire for those …

  4. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ms-t...ace051608%C2%A0 Cutler adjusting to life with diabetes By Michael Silver, Yahoo! Sports May 16, 2008 ATMLiesOxygenJulioSearchRoyalsSongENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Jay Cutler entered the cafeteria at the Denver Broncos' training facility Thursday afternoon, a notebook full of offensive alignments in one hand and a small, black zip-up pouch in the other. I was far more interested in the pouch: a kit containing a lancet device, blood-glucose meter and test strips – the tools for drawing blood from a fingertip and checking his blood sugars. After sitting down at a table, the strong-armed quarterback placed th…

Someone had posted about this guy but couldn't find it anymore. See what happens when I'm on the road so damn much. I read Wes Bunting's take on this guy and I just don't know what to think about him. I absolute love his size, speed and the fact he uses his body well to shield defenders but Wes also mentioned how the guy is constantly hurt all the time, he shy's away from contact and when he is about to get hit he takes his eyes off the ball, the major problem that I have is that his hands are good either. I think what Cutler needs, besides an Oline that can protect him, is a WR like Brown who has the size but doesn't mind go over the middle but more importantly he ne…

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/...is-last-season/ PFT GearBroncos tried to trade Ryan Harris last season Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on February 18, 2011, 9:04 AM EST Earlier in his four-year career, Denver’s Ryan Harris looked like a franchise cornerstone and one of the best right tackles in football. After a slew of injuries and inconsistent play, the Broncos were ready to dump him last year. Josina Anderson of FootballProsLive.com reports that the team tried to trade Harris last season. The Bears reportedly showed the most interest, with the Raiders, Bills, Redskins, and Texans also in the mix. Harris wound up starting the last eight games…

  10. http://bearingthenews.com/?p=1446 Jerry Angelo Needs to Be the “Manager” The Peter Principle states that “in a hierarchy every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence”, meaning that employees tend to be promoted until they reach a position at which they cannot work competently. The problem with climbing up the latter at any place of employment is that they promote you for doing a well at what you do to fill a position where you are called upon to do something totally different. For instance, I was promoted to professor in a science department at an academic institution because I could do experiments at the bench. Guess how many experiments I…

So any interest in a retread like Colombo? Or how about the monster known as Davis? And I might think of low-balling Williams. Not sure what his deal is. http://m.nfl.com/news/09000d5d820fe7e9/wil...on-way-out-too/ And I for one welcome the idea of Donovan coming to the NFC North. Should be fun.

http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/3735/brad-smith Was reading some comments on this at another site. And it appears the interest is in his playing ST and in place or Danieal Manning so perhaps this could be worthwhile.

Is it me, or is the only regular analyst on there with any bit of sense or credibility is Sapp? I'm not mentioning outside guys like Mike Mayock and Warner. But Rich Eisen, Jamie Dukes, Casserly, Laconfora, and Greer(dont know him well).... these guys are so pro-NFL garbage it makes me furious. The whole thing with Vince Young the other day was a prime example. I posted this statement earilier... but how often must a player prove he sucks for NFL to accept it... And I love Kevin Kolb calling Philly a dirt hole, cuz it is... HA!
