Its not too often that NFL teams can have 3 former head coaches as assistant coaches for 2 consecutive seasons as usually someone comes a callin' for their services.This unique situation we have here is something that we should watch closely. The prize is Houston , I think we're waiting for him to accept an offer and his other options. There are a few other edges out there. Shane Ray and Derrick Morgan had some good years but injuries have produced very little the last few years. Then lynch could be back. I think the Houston signing could be problematic on the growth of Floyd who could have his much waited for breakout year. So I think it comes down to money for Houston.

I was re-watching the game and got to thinking...Isn't this technically a safety? He fields the kickoff in bounds backpedals out of bound and downs the ball out of bounds? Always thought if you on your own step out of the back of the end zone it's a safety? Marc Mariani - WR - Bears At least four teams have shown interest in free agent WR Marc Mariani. Chicago is one of those teams. We play against: Brock Osweiler (new starter in HOU), Chase Daniel (new starter in PHI), and Dak Prescott (rookie). I would not be surprised if we went 3-0 into Week 4 against Detroit. If we do anything less than 2-1, it will be a huge disappointment.

Pace talked a lot today about drafting players with top intangibles, who fit the positive "vibe" in the locker room, and wanting to immediately get better. I'm taking that to heart here when I try a draft that makes sense and that Pace might be trying to pull off based on that criteria. for next yr from the Suntimes. Not sure if I agree with everything they are proposing but they do cover most. Interesting note is that Fred Miller has played all year with a partial torn MCL.
