The Chicago Tribune reports that ex-girlfriend Rasheedah Watley, who filed the lawsuit in 2009 accusing Marshall of battery and false imprisonment in two separate incidents in June 2007 and March 2008, had her case dismissed in Georgia State Court on May 25. Every time we think we are going to have a good year, they disappoint us.Every time we expect so little they suprize us. Is it finally the year where we play up to our potenial from day 1. I think so. We now have a more talented Offense to live in the present of the NFL. The defense is starting to slide some, but if we can get top 16 production out of it, we maybe will be talking 11 to 12 victories. Im not drinking coolaid this morning. The STs is always one of the best, so with an upgraded offense, good things could be coming.

http://www.chicagobears.com/multimedia/mul...clip=Y&rn=9 Not great video, but s*** I'll take it. Just thinking of what these two could do together gives me goosebumps. Bill Polian said today Marshall might catch 115 passes, and Cris Carter said that this is the best Marshall has looked since his junior year at UCF, mentally. Carter and him work out together in Florida in the offseason apparently.

Maybe a little bit premature, but the odds are out for week 1. The Bears are ten point favorites. Is that an indication of how good the Bears are going to be, how bad the Colts were, or both?

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1222885...efensive-tackle The situation behind starter Henry Melton is precarious at best and could get worse in an instant. Nate Collins, Jordan Miller, John McCargo, Ronnie Cameron and DeMario Pressley are five players vying for the fourth defensive tackle spot on the Bears roster this year. These five players have made a combined one NFL start between them.

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown...15977--nfl.html Chicago Bears cornerback Charles Tillman does not like your pro-Packers math! By Doug Farrar Chicago Bears cornerback Charles "Peanut" Tillman was recently supporting his Cornerstone Foundation at a sporting goods store in the suburban Chicago area, when he received an autograph request from the daughter of the store's owner. The teenage girl was doing her math homework during the appearance, and she showed Tillman one of the problems given to her by her teacher, John Amrein of Round Lake Middle School: The Packers play the Bears 4 times in two seasons. The Packers, being a much better team…

The Chicago Bears signed T Cory Brandon and CB Cornelius Brown. Brandon entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of Oklahoma in 2011. The 6-7, 324-pound offensive lineman spent the 2011 preseason with the Buccaneers appearing in all four preseason contests as a reserve tackle but was waived on September 3. Brown originally joined the Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2010 out of the University of Texas-El Paso. He was waived by the Bears after the 2010 preseason and signed to the Indianapolis Colts practice squad. The 5-11, 198-pound cornerback was elevated to the Colts active roster in November of the 2010 season and appe…

So, if Davis is so highly sought after, and the Bears believe in him so much, and he is such a great fit for the Bates/Tice attack, and Briggs thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread, why was Rodriguez drafted? http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,7334055.story
