Louis Delmars was cut today from Detriot. The last two years he has been plagued by injuries,Detroit cut him because of the price of his contract this year. He was due to make 6 mil on a one year extension and they needed the cap space. If he can over come his injuries he would be a much better player than our two starters last year. He will come reasonable and I think we should kick the tires on him.

I used to want him, and thought Smith might be able to do something...now, I'm not so sure.

It has been noted that the bears have been playing alot more man press the last couple of weeks which has led to a better performance. Was this true against the Lions as in another post i cant remember much of the game due to the high level of celebrations!!! Did the Bears use the man press against the Packers earlier this year? Watching the Packers last night their timing on O is off the charts, wouldnt the man press help distrupt their timing if possible?

Early guesses would be Walker and Miller. Miller is a no brainer but I wouldn't hate bringing back Walker w/ a restructured deal.

The big question of the day, in the media, is what do the Bears play for this Sunday? Do we play as if the Rams will lose and we have home field to gain? Do we play to rest nicked up players and hope to win? Rest starters knowing we'll meet again the following week? Or do we play like we want to make a statement and send the Vikings on vacation. So the Bears had 3 huge trades this year, Mack, Quinn, then Smith. Besides creating a ton of cap space (which is hard to quantify), here is how the other teams are doing so far compared to what the Bears got/have: LAC - Mack, Wild Card loss, $27.5M AAV for 2 more years. BAL - Smith, Wild Card loss, $20M AAV for 5 more years.
