GREAt game GREAT weekend. Was sick saturday (bug from kids) but didn't stop me spending heading out saturday night for some collegeball. Brad Biggs spent 3 hours drinking & chatting with us & had some good things to say in his Chicago Tribune piece. Missed the flag game as I slept late but it was what I needed to get over stomach bug & set me up for the game Sunday. We did however beat them. The one guy on staff I would interview would be Toub. His ability to incorporate new players into his system and still maintain a top unit is intriguing. He also should know this roster top to bottom since he has to utilize starters and backups for his unit. Maybe he could follow the path of John Harbaugh and of course "Da Coach".

Starting to read up on Pat Mahomes and starting to get a crush, so I did a mock using the www.first-pick.com site so I can trade and I manipulated a 3rd round deal. 1-3 Myles Garrett is available (some how?) '95 & '09: Kramer vs. Cutler I have always liked Kramer, as a QB, and after his career in his work with the media. He has never been a "homer" and has shown excellent abilities to analyze a player and team. He isn't full of sh** like many who have written Cutler off as one who throws too many near INTs & other such crap. I like this article a lot. It admits our possible weakness at WR but also admits we might have a lot of good weapons for Cutler. It also gives excellent reviews of Cutlers strengths & weaknesses. Definitely worth reading.

Again, I'm really appreciative for the concern of all of you here. I always find it funny when someone does an analysis like this with no point. To me the numbers are very misleading. 6 players are 30, and 8 our 31-33. Of those 8, 2 are our Kicker and Long Snapper. That leaves 6 players of age concern to me: Allen (gone after this year), Ratliff (only 1 or 2 years left), Rolle (stop gap Safety for 2 years), Montgomery (Centers can play into their mid-30's), Jennings (likely gone after this year), and Cutler (QB age is a non-factor at 31). The Bears are making trades and getting players at the needed positions without the draft by way of FA. Does this set them up to make moves by trading picks in the draft to move up or down to get the player they really want. Let say they want Brockers, or Foyd in the first do they trade up if needed to get them or sit tight and let them fall.
