So I was looking back as far as the 2017 draft to see where QBs were slotted on the Draft Big Boards prior to the drafts. This one site takes a collection of most major big boards on the internet and collates them into a consensus board. I really like this as it takes out some biases and other factors. Some big boards are BPA, others are sort of slotted like their projected draft positions. It makes me sick that the Bears drafted Trubisky, AND traded up for him no less. Tribune is reporting it is a knee sprain. Bears will know more in another day or two. My personal feeling is he doesn't miss anymore than a week. I wouldn't even be shocked if he could play as early as next week. Sounds like there isn't any ligament damage but until they do the full medical exam after swelling goes down you just never know.

His blistering 40 time at the Combine of 4.43 at 245 pounds opened eyes.For some scouts to project him to OLB is a stretch since he has never done anything other than DE. He feels he would need to add more weight to be even a situational pass rusher. Lovie went to the pro day and now he is scheduled to come to Halas Hall. The biggest knock on him is his checkered past dropping out of HS and spending time in "Juve" for what he says was "Running with the wrong crowd". He eventually got a GED and went to Mt. San Antonio JC before enrolling at W Va.

Well, after being a lurker here for a long, long time I must say it's time to say hello and ask a question. As a life long Bear fan of over 50 years I never expected the Bears to be in this position this year, and least of all to have the once in a multitude of lifetime chances to eliminate my most hated team! Not only in the playoffs, but the NFC Champianship game at home! I will be physically sick if the Packers win the Halas Trophey next weekend. I'm already "forever" sick that the Superbowl Trophey is called the Lombardi Trophey!!!!! Am I sutpid or do others feel the same way?

So I have finally gotten around to a computer to do some "Proper research" vs trying to do it on a tablet, and instead of simply doing a mock draft I'm gonna add in a few FA signings as well. First and foremost give me Devin McCourty. Despite popular belief that Jay's contract is so big it will prohibit them to add to the defense, the Bears will have a pretty good chunk of change to work with. Overall I think the defense does have some talent on it, I just happen to think Tucker is keeping said talent down, so I don't mind spending a big chunk o change on 1 player vs multiple cheaper players. RB or TE? OK, so it's pretty obvious TE is more important, but the class isn't that great. A lot of people believe TE's are being overvalued because there just aren't good ones. So, figure the round and then go one round later. The RB class, however, has some interesting talent. So, that leads me to this dilemma: What if Derrick Henry and Hunter Henry are both available in the beginning of the third? I like both guys, but I think Derrick Henry could be one of those Earl Campbell types, a guy who is going to easily average 4 yards per carry. He won't cause a ton of missed tackles, but when he gets a head of steam going, he's going to punish LBs …
