With 324 yards rushing and 310 receiving and the Bears having a total of 1231 net yards he is clearly the kingpin of this offense. The longer the team waits the more costly it will be for them to sign him. As he spoke to Waddle and Silvy on AM 1000 ESPN todfay he said that even though he is trying to play through it, that its a distraction. He says he wants to be with a team that appreciates what he does. I agree!!

Usually I am no fan of Theisman (I think he is way too full of himself) but this time I have to say he has some good points. In essence he is challenging Roy to actually play or move on. Now this is the article I've been waiting to see. It was only a matter of time! Read this short article. At the end it states that Walter Payton's agent (Bud Holmes) that was quoted in the Biography "May seek legal action if he feels he was misquoted."
