I didn't see this mentioned anywhere but Teven was on the radio with Jeff Joniak. He sounds like he's in a much better place mentally this year and more focused on his craft. His interview starts around 12min mark.

Probably a bad time to do this after a bad game but I have a lot of free time in Thailand. First of all as much as Nagy and Pace has a bad year but there not going anywhere. So trying to create that chaos is a waste of time. For 2020 we have 12.5 in cap space. 1. Cut Long saves us 8 mil. The rest of the line isn't going anywhere cap hits would be terrible for them. 2. At WR give ARob a new contract to reduce this years cap hit of 13 mil. ( reduce cap hit to 9 this year.)Cut Gabriel 4.5 , and Patterson to save 5 mil 3. Floyd is not a pass rusher but can play football. Due a contract of say 3 year= 27 mil with only 10 guaranteed. Saves 4 mil.…

I wouldn't expect less from Howard in terms of work ethic. A player in such a physically demanding position as starting RB doesn't stay on the field like Howard has in 2 years without the training effort behind the scenes. Last year he worked on improving his receiving ability and this year he's even more focused on it. He doesn't need to be elite as a receiver, just effective enough that he drags coverage with him early on the route. With that he'll have a big impact on the offense's ability to disguise plays and get some chunk plays, including those where Howard catches the ball and makes the first defender miss. Really though, has there been much from Davis worth talking about to this point? Wasn't he supposed to be the "diamond in the rough" who this year was going to bust out? Beyond that, I could see a few possible losses in the veteran ranks that Mullin mentions, but also on the Defense as well. Probably more like the ones that were signed this last offseason (IE: Hayden, Willhite).

Citing two NFL sources, AOL Sports' Sean Jensen reports Randy Moss is expected to sign a "multi-year deal" to stay in New England. Jensen writes from Minnesota, so he probably has close ties to Moss or his agent. Jensen believes the contract is expected to be for three years and $30 million with $12-15 million guaranteed. A lot of news that comes out at this time of year is misdirection, but this makes sense. Jensen adds that impending free agent Lance Briggs is slated to sign with San Francisco.

On the Chicago Bears website there is the article entitled "Reason to celebrate". In the pick is Cutler, R Davis, and ???? The third guy I can not see but only a part of his number. Looking at the roster and trying to figure out what number his jersey is I am at a loss. He is one huge & homely guy, LOL. Kinda guy who would star as the "horror" in a b horror flick.

There are rumors that teams this year want to move down in the draft teams specifically mentioned are the Eagles (fourth), Lions (fifth), Browns (sixth), Bills (eighth) and Dolphins (12th) ,Cowboys(eighteen)as having made calls trying to trade down. Also the Jets and Vikings have two picks in first round...and maybe the Falcons and 49ers wanting to move up. So what kind of trades up or down do you see coming?

Looks like the defense got the better of Caleb today. This is good, because you want Caleb to have to learn the NFL speed now rather than later in games. I think we all agreed a few weeks back that having a great defense to go against in practice is going to make our offense better faster, and not have to learn on the fly during games as much. Here's hoping Caleb strikes back and wins some days soon too

One of my good friends, a Seahawks fan, was at the game this weekend. Immediately after completion he texted me four messages. 1) Seahawks D > Bears O 2) Bears D > Seahawks O 3) Seahawks scrubs > Bears scrubs 4) Please tell me that isn't your starting OL I could care less about the first two messages, because they're the equivalent of saying "the sun is hot", and the third may or may not be true.
