What I saw from tonight's game with our WR's: 1. Cutler forces the ball to Hester when Olsen's out. 2. IMO Rashied Davis appears to be our 2nd best WR. Not good. 3. Knox & Iglesias ain't going to see the field this year. 4. For all the hype, were Riddeau and DA even playing??? 5. Earl Bennett can't get open. I know the obvious excuses: It's just pre-season, blah, blah, blah . . . I ain't buying it. Cutler loves big WR's. Go get Matt Jones.

Now we got Alshon jeffrey as i say the NO.2 WR on ther other side of Marshall we just went from having below average WR'S to possible top flight WR core. Also look at his yards after the catch, and who some of his catches were against (Kirpatrick,Barron Jennings )top draft picks. Ya know I was pretty faithful watching the NFL network at 4 pm daily. I was waiting for camp reports for the Bears. They interviewed Tom Waddle from there, But it was about the Ochocinco trade. I have yet to see anything from them, And to boot Iam getting so sick of Dallas reports I wanna puke. What is it with the supposed flagship station of the NFl dropping the ball on this. It seems like watching the Daileys on the Reelz channel. Am I just missing it here or is anyone else feel like Jerry Jones and Bill Belichek bought stock in the station?

As per PFT, Housh signed with Seattle for 5 years, 40 million, with 15 guaranteed. Not to far off from Berrian's 6 year, 43.5 million deal with 16 guaranteed. Nate Washington signed with Tennessee, but I haven't seen the numbers. Hopefully, he cost a lot since I'll be pissed if they got him for a "reasonable" amount. Those two guys were considered the top two UFA available (not counting Marvin Harrison). It doesn't surprise me we went after them, since I think we really want to give Hester, Bennett, and Olsen a continued chance to develop. So its Glennon(rumored to be upset , who cares did the check bounce and think Drew Brees when the Chargers drafted Philip Rivers) Sanchez the Dak Whisperer Trubisky who should start next year( 2018) no matter what I expect the rebuild to see offensive players in and out like the defenders last year and mostly at OL. TC should sort out WR,RB and TE. FB is going to be a wildcard.

You obviously can't predict other trades, or anything like that. All you can do is pick where the Bears picked. Here's how I would have done it: 1) Laremy Tunsil, LT, Ole Miss - Huge steal here. He was supposed to be top 3, and before all the trade craziness he was probably #1. I think 75% of Bears fans thought he was the pick when the Bears traded up to #9. 2) Vonn Bell, FS, Ohio St - A safety with great coverage ability. Fits what the FO wants to do. 3) Jonathan Bullard, DE, Florida - Value is too good here. Great pick. 4) Andrew Billings, NT, Baylor - He's a monster. Should have gone earlier. IMHO we can be the Colts next week if we do two things on offense and one on defense. On offense if we can run the ball and control the clock we stand a great chance of winning .....due to the way the Colts are built. They don't have the massive line up front, they use lighter speed guys similar to what we have so they can be blocked out of plays. So if we pound the ball inside and use the 2 TE set we can run on them to the outside. Secondly their corners and LB are not speed guys so we can get Olsen/Davis underneath open and Bradley/Hester/Lloyd open on deeper routes. Also with their speed up front screens and draws will kill them. Not to mention that Sanders and Freene…

It was reported that the St. Louis Rams FS Oshiomogho Atogwe (shoulder, hernia) had reconstructive shoulder surgery following the season and is also fighting a sports hernia, so maybe this was the reason we did not go after him.

I think that now we are no longer the media darlings and the offensive onslaught that was expected this year has tempered. We should be able to settle down and get back to business. Was it me or has Jay and the boys been doing a ton of interviews before the game Thursday? Maybe the same amount but we were getting a ton of national exposure. This Cutler bashing will die after the games this week and we should be quiet, humble, and hungry.
