Saw a post on the socials recently where I learned #4 is in a contract year and an UFA after this year unless…the Bears resign him. So do they? I’m of the opinion ‘yes’ they need to. He’s done everything asked of him. Gotten better with Johnson and so far (knock on wood) has been durable. They didn’t draft any new RBs and aside from Monangai (who may have durability issues) there’s really no one left in the RB room. Huge news - way sooner than expected. Hopefully the momentum with Oz continues - he’s got a month of practices before season starts - even if he begins the year coming off the bench this is a huge step forward!

Let's say the Bears end up where they are at or slightly better in the draft. With all the clamor and hype for QBs this year, is there a player good enough for the Bears to stay where they are at? Convince me, and likely everyone else, why the Bears should stay where they are at. Because I don't see it. This is a 100% trade back kind of draft.

As this could help the Giants get a late win or two and possibly enhance Bears draft pick. We are likely to get a top 5 pick, but in a pretty tough spot since we will likely beat the Browns. Hard to do much better then 5 or so, unless we lose out. There are a lot of really bad teams.

They are having a hell of a year. Not sure if they can win a playoff game with Case Keenum but congrats on winning the NFC North. Peace

I know we have Shaheen, but man, Gesicki is tearing it up: His last two seasons: 48-679, 14.1, 5 TDs 57-563, 9.9, 9 TDs That is some great production and he is 6'6" and 250 lbs, so he is not just a workout warrior. Would you consider him as an option if he is sitting there in the 4th?
