So looking thru team stats, I noticed a few things. First, the Bears team is not as bad as I thought. I figured that they were bottom 5 on offense and the defense was bottom 2. So for offensive yardage, the Bears are 24th overall, Passing yards - 20th, Rushing yards - 22nd. Defense is 29th overall, Passing yards - 27th, Rushing yards - 16th. So on offense, I didn't expect the passing yards to be that good, but expected rushing to be much better. Can i get some corner or safety blitzes, i'm tired of blitzing up the middle and nothing happens. Can I also get some more run plays, even if we don't get a first down at least we use 3 minutes of time possesion instead of using 50 seconds, AND punting, AND letting our defense rest for one minute, AND giving the opposing QB more time which equals more chance to put up points on our tired D. Also cutler does more bad than good.I always get chit for putting cutler down,but he is not right for the bears. I believe things are starting to really come around in the Mike Martz offense. The last two weeks have looked awesome for Cutler, and his numbers since the break are eye-opening. Averages: 16/26 (61%), 203yds at 7.8ypa, for 2 TDs and less than 1 INT. Totals: 129/212, 1623yds, for 16 TDs and 7 INTs. Oh, and by the way, he quietly went over 3000 yards this past weekend. One other note... Before the bye he was getting sacked at an alarming rate of 4.5 sacks per game. After the bye, it's only 2.4 sacks per game. Call it what you want, but it looks like the guys on the offensive side of the ball are doing some coaching.

Webb showing up here is not a surprise but the line on Williams is. Either the injury is more serious than we've been led to believe or our young LBs are playing that well. Here are our rosters mine is on top highlighted in light blue He proposed a trade involving me sending him Ryan Mathews for Finley. IMO this weakens my RB's for a potential marginal upgrade at TE. While I don't mind dealing Matthews, it would leave me with 1 starting RB (and a temporary one at that) in Williams outside Forte and Lynch. I'm considering countering by including him giving me McFadden and I add someone like DeSean Jackson. This is based on the fact that we are playing the NFC and AFC West divisions and the last place teams in the NFC South and East. HOME DET (10-4) GB (10-4) MIN (6-8) ARZ (11-3) SF (7-7) DEN (11-3) OAK (2-12) WAS (3-11) AWAY DET (10-4) GB (10-4) MIN (6-8) STL (6-8) KC (8-6) SEA (10-4) SD (8-6) TB (2-12) 9 tough games, 4 winnable games, and 3 easier games. Looks like a brutal schedule as both West divisions are pretty tough. OAK has played tough and TB should be better in Lovie Year #2.

Saw that Miller returned to practice after being out with an injury since 11 August. I honestly didn’t know he was injured and not only that but that it was an ankle injury. Knowing he’s had some issues with his shoulder I was curious about his overall injury history. Am I wrong in feeling like I’m seeing the ghost of Kevin White still lurking Bears field? I don’t get the ‘warm and fuzzies’ most of you do about Miller when I see players like Wims and Ridley on the roster.
