I'm surprised to know that Steve Smith is a UFA. Did anyone here know this? Granted, he suffered a bad leg injury in December, but s***, he can play.

He'll likely be the Bears #5 WR and play some ST. In other words, he's taking Davis' spot.

It seems with all these signings, that Kruetz is not on the Bears list as a need. I wonder if they plan on Moving Garza to Center or hoping Linnenkohl is all they thought he was. This will make a very interesting time , that for sure.

Peppers and Izzy are penciled in at DE. Gholston will spell them in rotation. Adams plays the DT/NT position. But who starts at DT? Harrison, Melton, Big Toe, Omobi? Where do Wooten and Gilbert fall into the mix? Seems like there are too many bodies in the mix.

I guess he is deciding to watch his daughter go through her athletic career.

Well what do you think about this, we offered our starting center (#57) 4 million to play this year and he wanted more.....so he signs with the Saints for 2 million.....but now he is the second string center....go figure

Ya know I was pretty faithful watching the NFL network at 4 pm daily. I was waiting for camp reports for the Bears. They interviewed Tom Waddle from there, But it was about the Ochocinco trade. I have yet to see anything from them, And to boot Iam getting so sick of Dallas reports I wanna puke. What is it with the supposed flagship station of the NFl dropping the ball on this. It seems like watching the Daileys on the Reelz channel. Am I just missing it here or is anyone else feel like Jerry Jones and Bill Belichek bought stock in the station?

Have any of you guys done a dynasty league before? Do you like it? I have been thinking about getting into one and have been trying to do some research.

Truely blows my mind how Bears Staff can continue this garbage-fest. MCkinney immediately named starting LT for Ravens. Argueably on of the top OLINes in league even before this. And yet here bears are two years in a row with scrubs who they "like". im still not one to suggest signing every FA. But glaring holes exist and talent is available to fill it.. Not to mention Roy Williams (well i just did). "We feel good about Jmarcus and Frank Omiyale is our fallback....by god"

As much as I like him on the team, having him still learning the D and then face off against Brees concerns me a little. And, for what it's worth, I am glad to see Barber is staying out this week. Don't think he will be as needed this week as he will be against GB. I feel that given NO's defense, Forte and Bell will do just fine.

The usual blah blah from him ,he praised Hester said that they didn't play defense like they would have like(no sh--) and that they need to clean things up. When the reporters started asking him some pointed questions about acquiring players like Steve Smith he made a couple of comments and then the press conference ended shortly after that.
