Lawsuit No. 14 calls Watson a 'serial predator': https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31120815 Wow if this is even partially true, this guy is done.

He was released today by KC. Last year we offered him a contract but ended up back in KC. KC gave him a 2 year 10 mil contract last year. He had some injuries issues and only started 4 games. 2 years ago, he had 5.5 sacks and 36 Ts , 11 TFL, and 2 forced fumbles. since we had interest last year and he is only 28, I can see us going after him. What do you guys think.

Hester and Forte are interactive and funny, Cutler Lovie & Angelo are all funny, and Peppers and Briggs are OK.

Damn, that is exactly the type of offense the Bears should be running. Mixed in with good defense and special teams, it a recipe for success.

The reason we kept Royal was not only because of his salary....but he is now our 1st string punt returner and slot WR. I don't think that is smart ........but im not in charge.....lol

Comments? Regardless of what happens here we need to win today I'd like to see a decisive win but I'll take a win. GB wins and they improve to 3-1 and Minny drops to 3-1 and if we win we improve to 3-1. 3 way tie for the division with the 1-3 lions at the bottom GB looses and they drop to 2-2 and Minny improves to 4-1 and if we win we improve to 3-1. we would move into second place. I have to think that this matchup favors the Packers. Minnesota hasn't had a true test like this yet. The 49ers should have beaten them last week but due to a fluke didn't. The Vikings have been flirting with failure and this time I think it bites them. I personally do…

Here is our top free agents, who should we bring back? WR Kennan Allen DE Darrell Taylor OL Coleman Shelton OL Teven Jenkins RB Travis Homer TE Mercedes Lewis OL Matt Pryor DE Jacob Martin I think Shelton played well enough to bring back as a backup, Jenkins on a team friendly deal and Jacob Martin is a cheap backup that has shown some since coming off injury. He was making the vet roster salary. My biggest wish is bringing in Trey Smith. Poles was there when they drafted him. With the growth of Wright and stick Smith next to him we have a power spot on the OL.

Hello everyone , Its been a while since I posted. I hope everybody is doing good ? Let me ask you what would be your offensive game plan be for tonight? We all know what our defense will do, #1 stop the run and #2 then play the pass. And if the Texans are charitable our "D" will have no problem of receiving such gifts. Game time weather and field conditions should be considered in your thoughts.

http://chicagobearsfanforum.com/blog/?p=251 The Bears The Bears have added a new scout, presumably to help out on the east coast. Just so you'll know who (else) to blame. Cedric Benson is back at work. No word on why he missed a day but we'll cut him some slack because it's not a crime. As far as we know... David Haugh of the Chicago Tribune makes a legitimate argument that Devin Hester could be among the biggest losers in the decision to opt out of the CBA. Thought playing offensive line was the dirties job in the NFL? Come inside the mind of Israel Idonije of your Chicago Bears. Elsewhere Presumably the vot to opt out of the CBA was u…

At what point, if at all, would the Bears consider going back to Dalton? Feels like Fields is getting hit like crazy, unable to make the quick read, and while there are many reasons for it - performances like the Browns game and Bucs game are so bad that it is hard to generate any learning from those moments...in fact it can be the opposite, too much of this can break a player. I'm worried it is trending in that direction and I honestly think the Bears were right about fact that Fields should sit for a while. Yes, at some point he has to learn on the field, but it is pretty clear that there are certain skills that are lacking and the system has not been designed t…

It's hard to predict a Superbowl appearance much less a win but IMO Cutler taking us to the NFC championship game in his second season with us, especially with the talent level on our offense, means the trade was a success. When I get to work tomorrow I'll check in with the Broncos' fans to see how they feel about the deal and earning the #2 pick in the draft. I know there are other factors on their side but there are other factors on our side when you consider our Oline, young WR corps, etc. It hasn't been an easy path for Cutler but in Rd 2 of the NFC playoffs he put up 35 pts. That's pretty good. I'm sure even Tom Brady would admit how good it is, perhaps Peyton …

He'll likely be the Bears #5 WR and play some ST. In other words, he's taking Davis' spot.

We've had mixed feelings about this ball club now sense our Superbowl run 2 years ago. We are still grasping at a shot of redemption with our fingernails this year and if it weren't for a couple plays, the "NFL" world would be mentioning the Bears with the Giants and Panthers as favorites to go to the big show. With this in mind, I don't see JA looking to tear down and rebuild, but to keep reloading. He will stick to his formula in building the team through the draft and to only add big name FA's only if it won't hurt the team in the long run. FA starts Feb 27 - Mike Brown - signed 4 yr deal Julius Peppers/Terrell Suggs …

I was just reading the new kickoff rules for the 2024 season. At first glance, it is quite a change. However, I think it will accomplish the goal of making kickoffs once again a vital part of special teams instead of an afterthought. Here is a link to the story (and new rules) on NFL.com. (What do you guys think about the new rules?) NFL owners pass new hybrid kickoff rule at Annual League Meeting In summary, if the kickoff lands between the goal line and the twenty-yard line, it must be returned. However, the alignment of the players and the point of release are totally different. Special teams will have to spend a lot of time getting ready to take advanta…

  20. I keep trying to figure out what kind of strategy we are likely to see with this upcoming draft from the Bears, but I'm stuck because I have no idea how the new coaches and Poles see some of the current players. In my mind, I think it's mostly their evaluation of these five players that will be most crucial: -Kiran Amegadjie - He was obviously drafted to be the future LT. He was rushed into service last year when they had no intention of getting him in a game last year, even before he was hurt in the preseason and missed valuable experience, and as a result had some very bad reps but also had plenty of good ones. He probably has some flexibility as a swing tackle …
