Here's my agenda... 1) Send a letter to Briggs agent, telling Briggs to play this year, keep his mouth shut and we will extend him next year. A message needs to be sent by the new leadership, that stongarm tactics will not be tolerated. However, good play and locker room leadership will be rewarded. 2) Message to players Part II. Unfortunate news for him, but this is what you get sometimes when drafting college players that have been through a serious injury. I was not too fond of this pick either. We hoped we would trade down in round #1. Draft multiple players to start on opening day and help us in the future. We traded up. Drafted a QB who will start in 2018. Traded down. Drafted a TE who might help us in 2018. At best, this is a mediocre team next year. That's at best.

I was wondering if anyone else has the same issue I have in my area...When the Bears play at 3:15 they ALWAYS cut to the Bears late...a couple weeks ago when the Saints/Falcons were all tied up...I missed almost 1/2 the 1st quarter. Sunday, the first game finished in plenty of time but then they went to BONUS coverage of some other crappy game and again, I missed part of the 1st quarter. I have never had to buy the NFL package as I really could give 2 sh*ts about any other football team....there is but one team for me anyway, does anyone else have to deal with this? I live about 2.5 hours West of Chicago in Illinois. Drives me crazy!

Just looked up his stats and he is one pace to have over 1000 yards receiving. I had no idea he was averaging 18 yards per catch. If he keeps up this pace he will have had a great year!!

He was released today by KC. Last year we offered him a contract but ended up back in KC. KC gave him a 2 year 10 mil contract last year. He had some injuries issues and only started 4 games. 2 years ago, he had 5.5 sacks and 36 Ts , 11 TFL, and 2 forced fumbles. since we had interest last year and he is only 28, I can see us going after him. What do you guys think.
