Coach Pagano hosted his 7th annual cancer benefit tailgate in Indy. Most all the Bears coaching staff went along to include Pace and McCaskey. Sorry about the title, I was in tears laughing. It looks like Clausen may get his 2nd start against Seattle this season. Now it is in Baltimore, but I can't imagine it would be much better than the last outcome. His top running back is Allen, and top WR is Aiken. So Clausen and Trestman against a rolling Seattle team looking to make a playoff push. Should be fun. This is the most optimistic view I have seen out of the national media. Now I remain realistic and slightly pessimistic (especially with the schedule). My projection is more in the 7-9 win range, but 10 would have us on the cusp of the playoffs. So what do you think? Only a few teams do well consistently, and even then their main guys get fired after one or two misses. It also analyzes the GMs (I'd love to see where Angelo falls into that analysis). A somewhat interesting nugget came out about Moses. It sounds like he was asked to play LT and wanted to stay at RT, so he signed with the Jets. Several interesting takes. LT's make a lot more than RT's, so I wonder if it was for the same amount, so he didn't want to switch without a raise? Was he depth at LT and wanted to start? My assumption is Jenkins at LT and Ifedi at RT with Borom backing him up. So LT makes sense if you were bringing him in as insurance and depth. I don't how much the Bears could gauge on the progress of Jenkins without pads and basically 3 weeks of walk-throughs.

I mean seriously, where is it? We continue to make guys like Griese and Frerotte look like Johnny Unitas. Too much talent on the d-line to look like this.

Did the staff not feel Rex could utilize the 2 TEs as well, or did they not feel Olsen was ready last year. It's hard to say what he has left physically but as far as leadership in our secondary we haven't seen anyone like him since we lost Mike Brown. Saw that Miller returned to practice after being out with an injury since 11 August. I honestly didn’t know he was injured and not only that but that it was an ankle injury. Knowing he’s had some issues with his shoulder I was curious about his overall injury history. Am I wrong in feeling like I’m seeing the ghost of Kevin White still lurking Bears field? I don’t get the ‘warm and fuzzies’ most of you do about Miller when I see players like Wims and Ridley on the roster.

We still can get a DT we would have liked if they took him in the first round left on the board. Top DTs left Jerrinigan Nix Hageman Truitt Quarles Sutton Anthony Johnson. We are going to get a good player in the second round at a position of need. Dont sleep on Ego Ferguson either or Jones from PSU. We will grab a good player there. If we get Jerrigan, Nix or Hageman, we did good in this draft no matter who else we draft.

This is based on the fact that we are playing the NFC and AFC West divisions and the last place teams in the NFC South and East. HOME DET (10-4) GB (10-4) MIN (6-8) ARZ (11-3) SF (7-7) DEN (11-3) OAK (2-12) WAS (3-11) AWAY DET (10-4) GB (10-4) MIN (6-8) STL (6-8) KC (8-6) SEA (10-4) SD (8-6) TB (2-12) 9 tough games, 4 winnable games, and 3 easier games. Looks like a brutal schedule as both West divisions are pretty tough. OAK has played tough and TB should be better in Lovie Year #2.
