If he lands in the NFL, I wouldn't be surprised if it is in Tennessee with Mariota. Here is a rundown on what he did to the Eagles: Traded away: Nick Foles and LeSean McCoy Traded for Sam Bradford and Kiko Alonso Signed via Free Agency: DeMarco Murray, Byron Maxwell, Darren Sproles, and Ryan Mathews Released veterans: DeSean Jackson, Trent Cole, Cary Williams, Evan Mathis and Todd Herremans Allowed Maclin to leave via free agency http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14462075...adelphia-eagles Bears relation.......Gase may be a candidate for the job.

Cutler day to day with thumb sprain. Trevathan thumb surgery tomorrow. Does not sound like they are putting him on IR. Houston looks like he may be done for the year with a knee injury (I would say he is done as a Bear). Goldman - Ankle sprain, no break. Waiting on MRI. Staff is positive at this point. Amos and Callahan - Both on concussion protocol. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0920-story.html

I have a feeling this week will say a lot. I figure it to be redemption or bust. Of course, much of how this will be perceived will be based on whether Cutler plays or not. Assuming he does play...this game could be prohpetic. Here's my twisted logic on some scenarios... 1. We lose. If we lose, I think we're done for. It's the kind of loss that can send medicore teams snow-balling. (us last year, the Niners this year) The Panthers on paper are total garbage. We should win, and win big. The O line should improve, or at least block 1 out of 10 rushes unlike last weekend. Martz and staff must adjust and make things happen faster...and run the damn …

  9. So I got this wild hair the other day after watching the Super Bowl and thought ‘how much longer can this last?’ ‘This’ being the current Patriot dynasty. That which involves no matter the circumstances the Patriots will almost always make it to the Super Bowl and have a better than 50% chance of winning it. So to answer my question in a convoluted way I thought who has the better coaching tree; Belichek or Reid? (I partly asked that because Nagy is a product of the Reid tree and well...I like Reid). Anyhow, without really putting much thought into it I started thinking about all of the coaches that have come from either camp and how successful they’ve been. Interest…

I havent been on here much during the season, am caught up i FF and Draftkings betting. Instead of going through all these threads to catch up, will just share my thoughts here. The Bears are just bad, all the optimist of last year and the offseason has took a nosedive. They still could make the playoffs if they win out, but odds are that are slim to none. Trestman has lost his team and the great offensive mind is coaching scared. Cutler is just a turnover prone QB with a great arm and questionable decisions. The one bright spot is Matt Forte, enough said there. Were no longer playing downfield, now in to the dink and dunk formation with a 25 million dollar…

Arguably the league’s best special teams coach, Toub was a candidate for the Miami Dolphins head coaching vacancy. According to NFL Network, Toub will be paid $1 million a year, ranking him among the league’s highest-paid special teams coordinators. He deserves th…

Daniel Jeremiah lists Fackrell as the 28th best prospect in the draft. Much will change between now and the draft but this kid was once considered a potential top 20 pick but his knee injury a year ago had him off the radar. Another guy I liked in Rd 2, Jonathan Bullard, he has listed at 40th and on many other boards he's moved up well into the 1st Rd. He's got 11 or 12 DTs in his top 50 (depending on where you list Bosa). That's a lot of depth at DT and the order these guys get picked will depend on team needs (i.e. run stuffer) and scheme. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300000062...-2016-nfl-draft

As per PFT, Jenkins ran slower then expected, and teams may view him as a safety. Which would drop him out of the top 10, which means he could be available at #18. How would you like him as our safety? Here's what PFT said: JENKINS COULD BE SLIDING Posted by Mike Florio on February 24, 2009, 9:54 a.m. Tony Pauline of SI.com reports that Ohio State cornerback Malcolm Jenkins ran 40-yard dashes on Tuesday ranging from 4.52 to 4.58 seconds. Per Pauline, a number of scouts believed that Jenkins needed to break 4.50 in order to stay in the top ten of the draft. He also predicts that some teams will now begin grading Jenkins as a safety and not as a corne…

At the age of 51, that hasn’t changed. McMahon weighed in on a wealth of subjects in an ESPN Radio interview today, talking about subjects ranging from the NFL lockout to suffering brain damage on the football field to how he got away with breaking the honor code during his time at Brigham Young University. And McMahon took his former team to task for the way they handled the injury suf…
