I think Tribusky's TD total is higher than projected.

Just taking a quick run through in a draft sim (thedraftnetwork) and I run into this scenario at 37. Safety is a need and Battle at this spot is a consideration but I'm not crazy about that option because I think there will be good safeties available later in the draft. Emerson I like as a CB but if Graham plays well then this need drops a bit and then we're looking more for an inside NB talent versus someone who can play outside. You can find that type of CB later in the draft. I don't like Bell and think he'll drop after the combine because everyone catches him in all of his highlights. Whats everyones thought on Gerald. I just noticed that he benched 26 reps and his arms measured a whopping 35". Also of note is that he ran a better than expected 40 time. Thoughts?

Just curious what everyone else thinks... Personally, I always thought Jauron rhymed with moron too easily, and it fit him all too well. This young man is really trying his luck. evidently he is okay after losing control of what was described as a vintage auto and he had 2 others in the car and both are also okay. I guess he is originally from Portland as he played prep football there.The report stated that he was not impaired and that he was cooperative with the police.

What has been over-looked as part of Idonije's value to this team has been his knack for blocking kicks which has become a lost art in the NFL.Since his arrival as an undrafted free agent he has worked his way into being a key contributor on defense and special teams.On a lot of Hester's runs you can see Idonije's number throwing a key block.I would put Idonije's value on special teams right behind Hester,Gould,Maynard,Mannely and AP. This along with his ability to swing between tackle and end may make a couple of guys expendable.

Is he our starting center next year? Groy filled in decently for Ola last week once he got the first series jitters out of the way. Looking at his background and knowing he played FB at one point for Wisconsin which means he has to have some athleticism. Garza just doesn't move his feet as well as he used to and I think we need to address the center position this offseason. Taylor Boggs hasn't cracked the lineup and with all the injuries we've had there were plenty of opportunities to do so. Yesterday I listened to Lovie's press conference: http://www.chicagobears.com/multimedia/mul...lip=Y&rn=17 and when he was talking about the WRs (5min mark) he suddenly stopped and said "he's excited to see what Greg Olsen can do in his new role, and his role is changing." Lovie usually doesn't say anything beyond his usual cliches so for him to go out of his way to mention Olsen like this means there is something to it. What is his new role? Anyone heard about this? Anyone seeing anything at camp? From the Trib video all I've seen so far was that he lined up wide, outside the WR, on one play. Not sure if that means much as he lined up some at WR…

With the recent contract updates both Howard and Kwiatkoski have earned pay raises and now have $2mil/yr salaries based on playing time. Both have earned it, especially Howard. However, we are tight on cap space and depending on how things go with Iggy, Kwit might be the 4th ILB on this roster. That's not a spot we can afford to spend $2mil to fill. Nor is he the ideal fit inside due to his lack of speed. I don't know for sure what Pagano wants in his ILBs I can't imagine it's much different from Fangio. Kwit is a good ILB and could easily fit well into someone's 4-3 scheme. I think the Bears should try to trade him for a day 3 pick. We can likely sign a vet…
