Since we actually do not need a starter anywhere, what depth spot is the biggest priority? If we lose MT, Chase can cover a few games, last year we had this scenario and we finished 12-4. If MT is out for the year we are screwed anyway. If we lose a WR, we have M. Hall, Patterson, and Wims as backups. position is good If we lose Davis we still have Cohen, Nall and Patterson, that would work out. If we lose Burton- a problem, Sheehan would have to step up and fins some help. "The MRI revealed no ligament tear," according to the source. Coach Lovie Smith would not reveal Orton's status during a Monday news conference, saying only that his quarterback was scheduled to take more tests. Orton will miss Sunday's game against undefeated Tennessee but could return in time to face Minnesota on Nov. 30.

For the first time in a long time, the NFC North gets a decent break, playing two of the weaker divisions in the league. We draw the AFC South and NFC East, which are the two divisions with a potential 8-8 Division Winner. With this info, we need to be all in for next year, as I don't know when we will get this type of opportunity again. I am not a huge Rex fan but I think he performs while Orton is out. He has three or four weeks to show the NFL that he belongs and he is practically fighting for his career. The Bears are not going to sign him after this season so he has to perform to show other teams out there that he can play in the NFL these couple weeks ahead are maybe the biggest of his career lets hope he follows suit.

What do you think the chances are of our new GM being able to bring in and sign as FA D.Bowe (WR) and B.Carr (DB) from the Cheifs? That would be a good signing and would take careof two areas of need for our team.

My oh My I am in love again. I just saw G Sayers on NFL Total Access.......... Alright, get your mind out of the gutter......... I love the coat he is wearing. I do not think I have seen the Bears coat he is wearing before. I have seen similar ones, of course, but not the exact version he is wearing. Does anyone know where it might be available for purchase (assuming you saw Sayers on the show before the game tonight)? I am too lazy to go surfing the net.

Film review by Tom Thayer. I for one am stoked about Sims' potential. Saw some other highlight films and thought this guy is a good catch. I love how he catches with his hands and he's big and strong (no, I don't have a man crush).

With no pads, it's damn near impossible to grade the lines & defense since they went through the motions. Here's my thoughts on QB's, WR's, and the TE's: 1. The radio guys talked about the all great catches but the secondary was avoiding contact. If you hear the media say, "He made a dazzling one-handed grab" there was typically a safety boring down on the receiver. In live action there'd have been no catch. Our QB's completed like 50 consecutive passes. 2. DA was constantly targeted by Cutler. He made some nice catches where he had to adjust his body and he'd go up and get it. He looks like Andre the Giant next to our other WR's cause they're so short…
