http://www.virtualsportsnetwork.com/madden...vens-full-game/ Full game of Madden 2010, it's the Alpha version so it's still a work in progress. But it looks very good, presentation is SUPERB I think. A whole lot better compared to last year where the presentation was "blah"

  3. we had nearly 10 years of poor drafting that has left this franchise with nearly nothing in drafted talent. our roster is swarming with 2nd and 3rd tier players on BOTH sides of the ball and players at the ends of their careers. the only talent what-so-ever with maybe 1-2 exceptions has been brought in as free agents or drafted by someone else than jerry angelo. to let that GM continue on as long as he did falls DIRECTLY onto CEO mike mccaskey and his crony ted phillips. they have run this franchise into the freaking DIRT that will take a good GM 3-4 years to turn around in the draft even IF we currently have one!!! the coaching staff in this franchise should h…

I just read this article, and it makes an interesting point. Quinn played DE, and OLB will be new to him. I expect that will show most on keeping contain and playing the screen, stuff like that. But we brought him here to rush the quarterback, and Roquan has his back on that side too. And all of this only matters in base defense. We're in nickel about half the time anyway, and he will play four-man-front DE in that formation anyway. Im very optimistic about our front 7. Who do you double team? It's gonna be fearsome. https://chicago.suntimes.com/bears/2020/6/18/21296170/chicago-bears-chuck-pagano-robert-quinn-3-4-defense

  7. I can remember a at least 2 teams in Chicago The Fire coached by Jim Spavital and the Chicago Winds coached by Abe Gibron. The Winds sucked and maybe lasted one year but the Fire had former Bear and Cincinatti Bengal QB Virg ( Chicken Bleep)Carter as their QB and at WR former NFLers James Scott, Jack Dolbin and Trumaine Hawkins. At RB they had Cyril Pinder and Tim Spencer(Bears RB Coach). This league was in the 70's and netted the Bears coach Jack Pardee and quite a few players like James Scott, Greg Latta, Dan Peiffer, Jeff Sevy and Fast Eddie Sheats. This was so long ago that my memory sometimes confuses this league with the USFL that was in the mid 80's if yo…

So we go into the Bye at 4-1, which is one game better than I thought we would be at this point. That is the good news, and we should have some easier games the next couple of weeks before it really gets tough. Our next 3 out of the Bye are all games we should be favored in (DET on Mon Night at home, CAR at home, and at TEN). Then it gets really tough, we get HOU at home Sun Night, at SF Mon Night, at home vs MIN, at home vs SEA, at MIN, at home vs GB, then at ARZ to close out a brutal stretch of 7 games. I really hope we can get to 7-1 after the TEN game, because I could see us going 4-3 or 3-4 in the next 7, but I am hoping for at least 5-2. That would be 12-3 …

*WARNING LONG POST* The Bears recent history with OCs is one of the main reasons why this team has struggled and caused so many HCs to be fired (Lovie). It has been ugly. It could be tied to the run on bad QB play, but it also could be the reason for that bad QB play. The last OC to be in position more than 2 years was Ron Turner from 2005-2009. Before Turner, you have to go back to Turner's first stint with the Bears (93-96) to find an OC that was in position for 4 years. So in the last 30 years, Ron Turner is the only OC who was in position for 4 years. John Shoop somehow lasted 3 years. He is the only other OC to be in position longer than 2 years in that win…

JJ Stankevitz did a good job breaking down our 4th quarter TD drive. I didn't even realize we never had a 3rd down on that drive. All the way down the field it was a first down every two plays until we scored. https://www.nbcsports.com/chicago/bears/bears-film-breakdown-matt-nagys-playcalling-shines-critical-second-half-scoring-drive-against

Comparing the Bears roster to the rest of the league by position group, they only have 5 players in the top 10 at their position in terms of AAV, Thuney, Jonah Jackson, Kmet, Odeyingbo (as Edge2), and Gordon (as Slot CB). Technically, Gordon is the highest-paid Bears player in relation to the rest of the NFL as the 2nd highest paid Slot CB. Odeyingbo is the next as the 3rd highest Edge2, then Thuney at 7, Jackson and Kmet at 8. Gordon's is the only deal that will be that high for another few years. Odeyingbo will be gone next year, and all the rest will slide out of the top 10 with other players getting new deals. My assumption is Darnell Wright will get added to the top …

  16. David Kaplan asked a number of softball questions as one would expect, but Loyd really impressed me from a PR standpoint. He interviewed extremely well and was very humble. He comes off as a genuinely respectful young man. He wants to bulk up to 255 and contribute in any way possible. He seems to just want to play football and help the team win. I liked what I saw. Welcome to the Bears Mr. Floyd! Now, go kick some ass!

Here is what I want, and I'm being completely serious. 4th-Pick Desmond King. If he's not available, which is likely, I want to double down on OT. Sharpe, Davenport, Johnson. Pick 2 of 3. 5th-Ryan Switzer, WR, UNC. Seriously. I've been singing his praises for months. Great possession WR. Unguardable. Fearless returner. Trubisky' favorite target. 6th-If King was there in round 4, pick Chad Wheeler, OT, USC. Otherwise, Draft secondary. Kazee still available? 7th-Chad Kelly-Hey, Glennon is obviously gone after this year.

Quarterbacks (3): Mike Glennon, Mark Sanchez, Mitchell Trubisky. Grade: B- (immobile top 2 hurt the group, until Trubisky starts, then A) Running backs (4): Tarik Cohen, Benny Cunningham, Jordan Howard, Taquan Mizzell . Grade: A- (I like this group, good mix of skills, Cohen the wild card) Fullbacks (1): Michael Burton. Grade: C+ (meh, zone blocking uses one) Receivers (6): Josh Bellamy, Deonte Thompson, Markus Wheaton, Kevin White, Kendall Wright, Tre McBride. Grade: D- (w/o Meredith we have no true #1 unless White steps up and performs like his draft status) Tight ends (4): Daniel Brown, Zach Miller, Adam Shaheen, Dion Sims. Grade: B+ (Decent versa…

Pix - Please note these aren't my positions on these matters but I think I can sum it up... 1.) While most realists expected 10-6 a solid year for this team, most football fans may pretend to be realists on the outside but deep down everyone hopes for perfection. Seeing a team from last year with a 9-7 record only improve 1 game to this year after adding Cutler just wasn't enough for most fans. Urlacher and Tommy were supposed to be MUCH better this year due to health. 2.) Our one loss was to the Packers and we lost in a very disappointing fashion. It made a lot of people think of last season and how we found ways to lose. 3.) Many saw Forte as a su…
